Lol Nokia will be so happy you said that. The industry has realised the mistakes Android made (Fragmentation, security holes, patent liabilities) and hope to be anything but Android.

There is absolutelu nothing high end in nokia 800.A mid end solution pretending to be something more with a 100€ too high price tag. It'a a 400€ device, taxes inclided. Selling it for anything more would be insane

Stephn elop's perception is w... morethere's a simple explanation about the fact that wp7 phones are not actually successful on the market. i think that about 80 percent of people don't know that wp7 mango exists. the problem is therefore an insufficient presence of wp7 phones on the medias and the lack of proper advertisement campaigns. personnaly, i think that the cooperation between nokia and microsoft will make wp7 mango popular. however, i agree with you on the point that nokia should return to meego if the n9 sales are successful and if nokia wp7 phones are a fail.

As soon as Nokia starts releasing WP7, it is by then the real competition will start. We can never forget 3310, N70, N73, N95. Whose knows if it will be same for Nokia WP7.

I DONT THINK THAT WINDOWS 7.5 WOULD BE A GAME CHANGER FOR NOKIA. Stephn elop's perception is wrong. People dont like windows too much. Look at the response obtained from public regarding win 7.5 which is now available wit samsung and htc phones. No such great thing has occured wrt sales.
Ultimately it will be symbian(symbian belle) and MeeGO which will again play major role in boosting sales of nokia phones. If nokia had changed the ui look of symbian a year ago then today it would be still a leader. There poor decision making and not quick to react brought them here. Now since they have understood and reacting quickly. Nokia symbian and meego will definitely play big game. Im sure if demand for N9 increases then even elop cant stop Nokia board to adopt and develope meego platform and use it as a major os in the long run. Same applies to symbian. If belle phone sales reach satisfactory level then they will make it long term.

it will be just 3 wp phones or may be +1 annoucement in nokia world... it's gonna be boring windowsphones all day nothing else, wp7.5 was just a few things change not cool enough had already seen it anywhere in numbers of brand still didn't get enough attendion don't even talk about mind share or eco system!? now with nokia's n9 candybar flawless looking cover doesn't mean it can any higher imo

As long as the phone has 1GB ram, dual core processor, the screen type is super amoled,internal memory is up to 8GB,battery capacity is up to 1800MAH above, and there's memory card slot on it...well, it's great to me to consider to buy this phone soon. :)

Too late Nokia, I've joined SGSII wagon. And I'm loving it there.
I know for sure that this phone will definitly be a hit but, it is quit obvious that I aint buying this.
