S Yu, 02 Sep 2018That's a peculiar shape for microphones, in fact it doesn't even make sense, why isn't it mesh... moremaybe the design is not optimal. But this headphone does have one of the best ANC. It works.

They producing everything to make richie bichies more comfortable.
But they are forgetting while richie bichies getting more richer, poor people also getting more poorer...
There are many people even can't dream about this kind of stuff...
Oh yeah, if you dont have money you dont buy...
          Good motto...
          380 Euro's for a headset...
          1200-1500 for a handset...
          Now...
I'm wondering how long will go this "Make richies more richie" trend...

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2018yeah~ it is the microphone for noise cancelling! That's a peculiar shape for microphones, in fact it doesn't even make sense, why isn't it meshed like usual openings used to let sound through? Debris could get stuck inside that if it leads to a sound receiver.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2018Is ldac really that much better than aptx? ldac is the best, but either aptx hd and bluetooth 5 is significantly better than 20 year old bluetooth due to the bitrate, significant differences in sound quality, but from aptx hd to ldac, you need some really decent earphones to hear the difference

Liking the new lightweight design on the 1000xm3 I didn't owned the XM2's, Sony did addressed the issues that plague from the XM2 and corrected with the XM3 looking forward on the reviews on the XM3.
