Nokia learned the lesson: UI is very important for users; with these "live view tiles" on Lumia 800 is IOS and Android who look boring now.

This isn't Android. It's a WP and it doesn't require to have dual cores and 1 gig of RAM to run smooth. It's a requirement for Android to compensate for its inefficiency. Google brainwashed you to think that having huge ram and a fast processor will make your Andriod phone runs smooth while in fact, it needs those to hide its flaws.
Maybe you need 1 gig of ram and dual cores to run some malware ridden app you got from the market? Maybe it will help speed up stealing your personal info. That's Android for you.
seriously... fr 270 euros n 420 euros.. a phn wid no frnt cam , no expandable memry , non user removable battery.. no thanks nokia.. i'm happy with my android..

This is the start of the end of Android! In just a few years, Android will join WebOS in marketshare. People will now realize how bad Android is and how horrible the malware ridden Android Market is.
The OEMs stuff their Android phones with dual cores, and huge rams because Android needs it to run semi-decent. It's so inefficient unlike Windows Phone.

With no SD card slot, cant add a memory card, I make full use of the card slot on my current Nokias. This makes me appreaciate the N9 64GB even more.

Sweet. Go Nokia. Hopefully the 800 will be priced around $600 here.
AnonD-8941, 26 Oct 2011lumia don't come with n8 specs so sad!It is because Windows Phone is no better than Symbian at this stage.
