I don't understand why such a huge difference in the price since the hardware specs are very close?! Is it just for the wonderful design of the 800?

The Lumia 800 costs substantially more due to the expensive machined manufacturing needed to create the polycarbonate unibody, just like the N9.

These phones are just too expensive. I'd wish Nokia would attract more interest to Windows Phone by keeping the prices down but they seem oblivious of the juicy alternatives to this(and lower) prices on the other side of the fence.

Well, the presentation seemed a bit boring and there were amazingly few cheers among the crowd. Seems that people are not too excited about these ideas, nothing revolutionary! At one moment a guy making the Lumia 800 presentation had to ask people to clap for the features, so indeed, im not too excited about these phones. It will probably be Android ICS for me, after my beloved N8 with Belle will get too old.

Like WP7 smoothness and animations, really,really hate the tiles.
