Of course it didn't take years, all they did was just change the plastic. Would have been something to also change the painting underneath the glass and the background to white.
I feel sorry for Nokia, this is really lame even for them.

Really feminine. But it looks good, even if personnaly have a preference for the black version. I wouldn't choose it for me, but it would be cool for business women.

I am happy that #NW11 or #NokiaWorld2011 started with the right kind of coverage. It's also very exiting to read GSMarena is dressed up in Nokia news!
Also CNet which SO AVOIDS to comment brand devices has devoted, at least, two correspondent writters to cover that event.

Andrew, 26 Oct 2011It's made of Aluminum, so yes!You are so wrong, you obviously haven't bothered to read any of the reviews. It's made from strong polycarbonate plastic, it's the same colour all the way through so scratches will not be noticeable.

Actually the glossy white works better when you think about it. Matte might catch dirt and dye easier than a glossy finish! Downside is that it will get scratch marks more noticeable but then that's why you have them silicone/gel covers. As if N9's 3 colours don't rock already, they add another one to confuse us! I'm somewhat relieved I don't have the budget yet to buy one because I know I'll certainly get this white one!

Awesome, in last week, i have seen and run through 4 phone, galaxy s II, iphone 4, blackberry torch and lg optimus 2x. I have not seen nokia n9 in my hand. But i swear, this phone looks just awesome in compare to all 4 phone i have seen and played. I use n900

SO does having the all white iPhone 4 make Apple look as if they stole the all white Nokia N97 concept?? Think again before u go posting something irrelevant. The all white phone concept has already existed more than 3 years ago. Sony Ericsson W810(White front and back with the side being silver). Oops!!! I really dont know what to say already... HAHAHAHA

R u damn sure that apple is using a uni body for its iPhone, and uni body in "white"... hmm. i kinda think u didnt do your research properly. I HAVE AN IPHONE 4 BLACK 16 GB and the antenna is damn grey(metal) and its not so "uni" at all(3 metals r joined by the black thingi plastic). not unless u r talking about the white iPhone 4 and they're even using glass for the front and back cover(separate glass). HELLO!!! Btw, i am using a nokia e7 as well. In addition, just to let u know that nokia has an all white phone way before the all white iPhone 4 was announce. And do you know what it is? its NOKIA N97. Not being a nokia/apple hater but i just hate YOU!!!
