Anonymous, 11 Sep 2018And yet here you are telling people what to do with their own money. It's addressed to the original poster who has already bought an expensive $1,300 apple watch. In his own words, he even said the purchase 'is kinda insane'. Whether or not you see it as an advice meant for you and other Apple users too, then so be it. You can thank me later for telling you there are better ways to show your fine taste and social status than wasting $1,300 on some electronic apple watch that doesn't even have a fraction of a gram of gold, silver or some precious metal or gem stone.

Why is the European iPhone the most expensive?
While the euro is more worth then the dollar.
Is it tax or some?

Yeah. Just downgrading the battery life for sure. :/

It's a next-gen manufacturing process. Nothing to do with optimisation.
I expect more of the same.
The most affordable model will cost over $800 but touted as the most affordable, even though you'll likely pay just as much for the mid-range option just to have a complete experience. The media will jostle Apples coin purse for more special access and free goodies, up until release we'll find out Apple will skimp out on software features through independent news while Huff post and Phone Arena say it isn't a big deal. There's always some #metoo against a company who is critical of Tim Cook, perpetuated by the same cult of mental gymnasts who think a trillion dollar company has your best interests at heart.
Geric.770, 10 Sep 2018Okay, enjoy your AMOLED Screen filled with burn ins! That's not possible since it doesn't display a static picture. I've never had a Samsung, but it's still a great feature. Besides, it's not like you're required to use it all the time.

Soooo... you kinda ARE telling him how to spend his money, even if it's masked through a passive-aggressive post.

You'll never have good battery life with a small battery no matter what. And if modem wasn't consuming significant amount of power, than how come 3G and especially 4G always drain the battery significantly faster than Wifi (Which itself consumes significant amount of power)?
We've seen it for years. CPU's are always supposed to be more power efficient, and yet in the end we get almost the same battery life.
Besides, a more efficient cpu doesn't necessary consume less power if it's more powerful. It's like having a 100 hp engine which requires 10l/100km and a 250 hp engine that requires 20l/100 km. The 250 hp engine is more efficient, and yet it still consumes more.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2018You can't defy the laws of physics. Small battery always means bad battery life. It's not just... moreA phone's chipset (CPU/GPU) and screen uses more power than anything else. While typically the screen uses the most, it can sometimes be the other way around (i.e gaming). In reality a 40% more efficient chipset will make a huge difference to battery life. Power efficiency is just as important as battery capacity. It's you who's denying the laws of physics, not me.
