Asphalt-nation, 09 Sep 2018Damn, not even a month out and already depreciated Yeah, much better value for money than apple.
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2018There is no unlocked Note 9, it will only accept SIM cards from one region. It is UNLOCKED, unlocked means that it is not tied to any carrier, therefore you can choose any carrier you like.
The Note 9 model is N960F/DS (Dual Sim).
The F means anywhere International, Global, Europe, not USA (that uses CDMA networks) or Latin America & China.
So it's a bit ironic that it's not on sale in Europe where it is fully compatible with any network.
So if you're in the:
U.S. you're best getting the N960U.
Latin America & China= N9600
Anywhere else in the World is F.
Same design. Same camera. Hideous back cover. Still no news about Android 9 Pie. This will flop like Note 8. Lol
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2018It's still an over price device at $865 considering it has 128/6gbWhat phone is cheaper with 128gb/6gb? This Note9 match it price for what it offer and how it built. It keep getting lower anyway.
What are you smoking? This phone looks older than anything out there yet still has the audacity to be priced a highly and you have the audacity to call it "sweet price".
Samsung is as good as dead now that she has to compete with actually hard competition (the Chinese)... Lol
some 300 dollars phones have a little lower performance, there should not be sales that's why they lower it in price

Herr Zeba, 07 Sep 2018Agree. These phones are worth around 500/600 including R&D. I doubt there was much of this... moreThat's even cheaper than Chinese flagship phones. But look how many stores Samsung have and how much money the are investing in research and developing stuff.
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2018you have to remember that SAMSUNG spends unlimited money on marketing too, not only on develop... moreCEO of Samsung doesn't agree. He has claimed that Samsung will put the latest tech into mid range phones first. Samsung is losing share to Chinese makers at very fast pace in the already shrinking phone market. Huawei should thank Apple and Samsung for their giving space to let Huawei be able to complete product line due to their overpriced device.

Samsung makes phones just to showcase their components, which they sell to all other manufacturers. They are not getting rich off phones. they make their money with panels, ram, storage and transistors.
naap51d, 07 Sep 2018About 400 bucks TOO expensive, for what you get. It's just "a name".This has been the same since a long time now. These Sammy, Google, Apple, Sony, HTC etc, devices have always been overpriced.
IMO, there's no point in pointing out the same thing again and again and again, more so because now we have great devices priced sensibly, offering flagship specs. I, for one, also is not willing to spend anything over 550 for a phone.
Moreover, I would like to add that, if there is one phone that deserves the highest price tag (not justifying 1000$ though), it's easily the Note9. And I am quite sure it would remain even after the new Pixels, iPhones and Mates are out.
