Kiyasuriin, 08 Sep 2018//high fives*high five back* :)
In all seriousness though. For a plastic-covered wire that doesn't have an embedded light saber inside, this is pretty expensive.
+1 for a light saber version
H-1, 08 Sep 2018I know, I'm just comparing the amount of plastic and wires in each ;p//high fives
Dorsefrith, 08 Sep 2018Sammy!!! why you did not give option to connect power cord! If I connect it to the phone/table... moreYou can always opt for the classic Dex Pad/Station if you wanna charge while doing stuff in Dex mode, it doesn't contradict. ;P
H-1, 08 Sep 2018And I just notices it's actually $50! I can buy a decent Bluetooth speaker or chromecast dong... moreYou are aware we are talking about different stuff? Sure, you can grab a decent Speaker for that price, but you will not be able to enter DEX mode with that speaker. Have you thought about that? ^^
H-1, 08 Sep 2018And I just notices it's actually $50! I can buy a decent Bluetooth speaker or chromecast dong... moreAnd here it costs 100CAD. Literally the price of 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Or high quality entry-level AKG headphones. Or some crap tablet/phone.
ProJames, 08 Sep 2018If you think this is expensive wait til you see VGA to HDMI...And I just notices it's actually $50!
I can buy a decent Bluetooth speaker or chromecast dongle at that price!
For Dex mode only 1080p is supported. But if you mirror your display then it's 4K 60Hz
Now, this is a adaptor, that could be genuinely needed.
Some other companies make bad decisions, which require us to buy a USB to 3.5 mm jack adaptor.
you better see samsung link there have a cable call DEX Cable no need USB C To HDMI Adapter
Sammy!!! why you did not give option to connect power cord! If I connect it to the phone/tablet I want be able to charge my device....
Just be thankful Samsung is giving backwards compatibility in the box with STANDARD stuff that was present before Type-C unlike Apple.
Not to mention it can help a PowerPoint presentation from phone if you like it or if your computer gets some issue right before presentation. But $32 is exorbitant. I'm sure Monoprice in US will get a cheaper alternative, we need one here in India.
