Samsung its self is nothing but a fun.
Nokia is the brand which is a lot above the samsung.
SpiritWolf, 10 Sep 2018You are the one, who believes that HMD is Nokia. Do your research yourself. And prove me wron... moreYour comments are pointless, with no substance and knowlege, whatsoever! Nokia 8 is more Nokia then all lumias that came out after microsoft full takeover. I must know, cause i also own 2 lumia 950xl. Poor battery and the worst build quality a lumia device ever had, since Lumia name was born. On that phone there is no Nokia in it, but just the camera, which is a damn good one, the rest is not even close to Nokia design and quality (from how was assambled (yes i took on appart because it's 2 front microphones died in about a year), what a design mess! I loved that device, but nope when it comes to hardware, has nothing what i would call, nokia. More like samesung in it's first years of building plasticky devices. As for HMD: there are so many ways to invest apparently you stopped understanding after you heard "money from". People like you troll brainless and somehow never get tired of being useless m''ns. Well at least they are the exemple as of why is important to learn and think before you speak.

Well it's been two years, and they're taking off. So I drew a parallel to what happened years ago when Samsung went through a similar account of criticism

So yes, Nokia is still a big corporation.
JSPRINGS, 11 Sep 2018Please get facts straight. HMD Global OY dosen't own NOKIA. Nokia Technologies is part of NOKI... moreWhen I was talking about Nokia I meant the mobile division not the whole Nokia. But it slipped from me as Nokia not Nokia Mobile.
Your right but I was tell explaining to the other guy who was assuming that FOXCONN owns HMD Global which was a false information. I told you him that Foxconn is an ODM that manufactures products for companies, the company is a multinational company meaning that both Chinese and Taiwanese and others work in the company if you read my previous posts
What I saying was true but the only wrong I was that HMD bought the Nokia mobile, it's that they licensed the name Nokia. Which some how if you think about it, it means bought the name to use it.
So my facts weren't wrong.
Lets see. If I won't buy a Nokia 9 and won't buy a Samsung phone - I save alot of money °o°´
Rex.T, 11 Sep 2018No no ...it means how garbage is new HMD owned Nokia is .. absolute garbage .. no innovation... moreHMD is the real veterans Nokia, just that it's a combination of EX-Nokia and EX-Microsoft employees to form as... Nokia 2.0!!!!
No no ...it means how garbage is new HMD owned Nokia is .. absolute garbage .. no innovation ..
Good old days .. nostalgic Nokia days is no more..
basically what happened to Nokia's mobile division is this. Nokia phone division is costing more money for Nokia than it is making for them. They sell there mobile division to Microsoft. Windows phone isn't working for Microsoft and in either late 2015 or early 2016 a new company called HMD global emerges (made up of ex Nokia and Microsoft employees with their HQ across the road from Nokia) and buys Nokia's mobile division from Microsoft.
Is it actually dual sim with dedicated sd card or Hybrid slot. I will buy if this is dual sim with dedicated sd card
As like there is one that would trade a new bought beast for the same old Samsung. Well, at least we kniw there should be a 128 Nokia 9 version.

Guys before spreading false information just check this link. It was already anounce by real nokia ceo on mwc 2016 as they will return its smartphone business then why are u spreading false info. Hmd global is made up of old nokia executives.
In another news:
"Samsung announces Nokia9 launch event at Samsung HQ"
For everyone here who thinks that foxconn is a chinese company your all wrong. Its a taiwanese company.
KamAbdi, 10 Sep 2018HAHAHA well that's for you but HMD Global is a company like Alphabet the parent company of Goo... morePlease get facts straight. HMD Global OY dosen't own NOKIA. Nokia Technologies is part of NOKIA OY,which was never sold off to any company in its existence. The Nokia Mobiles division was sold ,along with the rights to brand name to Microsoft. This was bought back by Nokia Technologies. HMD Global OY , a Finninsh company mainly comprising of old Nokia and Microsoft Mobiles employees is a stand alone company. It is not under NOKIA and neither is NOKIA under HMD Global. HMD has the rights to use technologies and brand name 'NOKIA' on its phones. The designing of theses phones are by HMD borrowing technologies from Nokia Technologies (such as OZO audio). Foxconn is a separate company who only manufactures mobiles and not design them. They are famous for producing the IPhones and the old Nokia mobiles. They are a mostly Taiwanese company.
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2018Why would Finnish banks "help" anyone? Government won't "help" anyone for fun either. Are you ... moreNokia went down when Microsoft bought them, HMD bought Nokia back in September 2014 but HMD's contract only started in August 2016
FoxConn was made by Nokia and bought by a group of Chinese businessmen
HMD is composed of engineers, programmers and staff of Old Nokia and some from Microsoft, HMD asked FoxConn to produce some of their New Nokia phones, just like Apple, Sony, Xiaomi, HP, and other Android phones in the wild, even Playstation, Cisco routers and other techs
now about where HMD took the money to get Nokia from Microsoft, well check HMD's CEO and most of their admin, you'll know where the money came from, if you want proof, check it in WikiLeaks, i will assure you you aint gonna find any Chinese tagged with HMD's money in getting Nokia
