I've been really looking forward to this, but I'm seriously disappointed. I thought they would stall any announcements to focus on bringing great new technology after not seeing any SoCs for such long time, but this is just a huge disappointment.

Wait, so Samsung launched a watch that last 2 to 3 days in regular mode and 7 or more days in just watch mode in a 14nm chipset with a 450 mah battery. And Qualcom comes up with this 24 nm junk, come on. Also Huawei should made a wearable chip since they manufacture the first 7nm chipset (kirin 980), I would say it might double the samsumg dayly endurance.

The power management controller is new, everything else dont. I cant understand why not choose a model number more close to the 2100.
But still nothing about bluetooth 5.0
I wanted 10nm A35/A55 cores. Guess the Exynos 9110 might be the best wearable SoC and would love to see OEMs adopt it.
And is it manufactured using the same old 28nm silicon process.

Just a new name, for a very old SoC! Maybe with firmware optimizations, but that's all.
