Coming from the Ericsson T18 all those years ago, I just want to thank you SE for all your hard work, you had some ups and downs but really before apple etc you brought music to our phones thanks to Walkman! Good luck Sony for 2012!

Sony owns Carl Zeiss?
1. You must be delirious.
2. You need to research ALOT.
3. Carl Zeiss lenses have been used on Nokia phones since the N95.
4. Handheld gaming wouldn't exist without Nintendo
5. Sony have copied too much this gen and even with the most powerful console this gen, they are being crapped on by both of its competitors.
6. Sony didn't succeed with the PSP hopefully the Vita will do better with its copycat touchscreen which you probably think Sony invented as well. Better yet, you probably think Sony invented motion gaming with Move. Lol!
Sony did invent Blu-ray and I would say Backwards compatibility but then I think back to Game Boy Color, Super Game Boy and Game Boy Advance that could play original Game Boy games.
Sony Ericsson also does make great looking devices such as Experia and Arc S but get real and pay homage to where it's due.

I'm pretty sure that play was never re-called but they had stock problems from the japan earthquake.
Concentrate on what they do now... android.
Everyone has issues, iPhone Antenna, Samsung build quality, HTC Everything, Nokia's OS.

Sony reliable i dont know what you guys have been smoking but i want some.Have to be the mlst unreliable phones along with blackberry.Anyone remeber the c905 issues and the satio and the spiro and why did the play get recalled then re released?Enough said i just hope they can start making good handsets.

I love the design the camera the smoothness
Maybe sony ericsson support isnt good to their customers as other companies but surely once u use a SE phone u wil fall in love with the phone thats why i can see this huge number of fan here even when se are not in the top 5,i hope both companies will keep moving in mobile world even if seperated,i will miss this jointure good luck Sony and Ericsson

Sony own Carl Zeiss - Arguably one of the best lens technologies in the world.
Sony re-invented hand held gaming on PSP and will do again on PS Vita.
Sony are currently the only Tablet manufacturer not to 'Copy' iPad form factor.
Sony own music labels, Movie studios and production companies.
Sony now own, one of the worlds most credible mobile phone manufacturers.

Arc, PLAY, W995, K800i, W595, K770i, Neo, W800i, Elm... all of them very reliable hardware & software. Everyones track record isn't spotless, so don't generalize or brand bash. Will always be happy to have a Sony in my pocket.

Ericsson without Sony cannot exists due to unique and flawless sound of Walkman, produced by Sony.
Sony without Ericsson means same great modern design, questions about quality of camera and sound plus NOT optional integration of other Sony devices.
As a marriage they making history.
Only Sony at board...hoping they not not copy endless similar succes models from other companies, how LG and Motorola does in this last ~2 years.

Eastern companies dominating mobile phone market. Samsung, htc, lg are just examples. Eastern companies know much better how to make mobiles . Do u know apple iphone 4s camera sensor is made by sony ? When mobile phones r becoming slimer everyday ,do u want a suitcaselike mobile and priced like a rolls-royce car? Don't be much nostalgic...wake up. Don't cry in ur room dear!
