Imagine this, 6months from now there is an app that links the P9981 to your 911 and records laptimes and so forth. At this point any1 who can use this app (point bein u do hev the 911) won't care about the price. Welcome to the world of superfones, an if u ask the price, u can't afford it.

These phones are made for a select niche audience. That market does not care if there is a front or back camera. Does not care if it is dual core or quad core. They care that they have something that most cannot afford and only select few will have. You think RIM does not know this duh! It is not for the geeky computer playing nerd that just reads about specs. :D

All right so apart from cribbing can we atleast give some credit to the design team that they did try to present something new?

One of the reasons why BB is in a downward slump, OVERPRICED phones. Plus, this is just hella ugly.

Its not about the spec, camera, os and or screen and all that stuff. Its Porsche design, and its like asking what kind of leather is being used on a Ferragamo shoes as compared to Clarks shoes. Its all in the name, and materials are enhanced to give it the extra class. If you are looking at all the specs, screen, camera and so on, then you are not in that class to own the device stated above.

I am not a BB fan, never liked their devices and always said their service was overrated (confirmed by recent outages), but this phone is absolutely beautiful and very different from everything else. That said, $2000 seems excessive for outdated specs. But a lot of business people don't care about specs. They have money and they are hooked on Blackberry. I only wish Porsche Design become more active in the smartphone industry.

I will have to admit that this BlackBerry model look a lot better than the other QWERTY BlackBerry models. Still...... $2000??? Don't you think that's wayyyyyyyyyyyy expensive??? ??? (I'm going to spend less than this EVEN for the future iPhone5, I guess.)
