DK, 18 Sep 2018I see that there is one major improvement an AMOLED screenIf it's really using an amoled screen then shi$ their IPS screen is even prone to image retention and screen burn( I had mi5s with lgd screen and within 10 months use the screen got a permanent burn weird cause it's an ips screen) with amoled it's gonna be more worse

if the spec is true, SD636,MicroUSB
then it's almost same with redmi note 5 AI camera, only without notch and dual camera selfie (which is not use anymore due to MIUI10 already capable portrait with single lens)

For time, notifications and battery life that these notch sides are used are only things these sides are useful and thats about it. And the function to hide notch is only making the background black and thats it. Time and notifications will still be in the same spot they were before hide notch.
The trend that you need to have camera in top of the screen will not allow to make full bezel less screens. So either have chin and all the things on it or have notch. To be honest i would like to have full black line of bezel on top of the screen like 5mm wide so all the needed things with camera will fit in it. While they have 2-3mm wide bezel around every edge anyways.
