(*Edit): Yes I can see that the:
64GB Xs= $999 & the 64GB Xs Max= $1,099.
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2018Lets also remind the haters that iPhones are cheapest to own, rich people can buy android and ... more......"I guess i can afford any android flagship but i dont want to waste so much money, the Xs is much cheaper to own for 2 years, will easily sell for $750, thats 250 loss while Note 9 has already lost at least $300 on their new price in 2 months. iPhone all the way for those who care about saving money".
>So are you telling me that you can get a brand new (64GB) Xs @ $1,099 - $100= $999 and that it's cheaper to own (despite all the review sites calling it expensive) than a brand new (128GB) Note 9 @ $999 - $300= $699?
If so, then please tell me where I can buy a brand new Note 9 @ $699, the cheapest I've seen it is $930 on amazon.
Or is it fake news ;)
Xypleth, 24 Sep 2018That's a very good point. It's actually great in terms of reducing environmental damage. The m... moreI have sold many iphones second hand, nothing sells for 75% after initial few months of use. Two years later definitely it won't fetch more than 30%-40% of the value maximum and if you are lucky! No rich guy going to keep their mobiles for two or three years IMO. Tin such instances Android makes sense since you don't want to lose the latest stuff coming out in android every year.
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2018Thats incorrect, you can freely delete the media files directly on the iPhone. Please restrict... moreCome on, I'm an iOS fan too, but let's be honest what he's saying is to some extent true
Erwin Ang, 23 Sep 2018People dont buy apple for daily use, they use it for show off only. xixixithats what android user said ....
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2018Lets also remind the haters that iPhones are cheapest to own, rich people can buy android and ... moreThat's a very good point. It's actually great in terms of reducing environmental damage. The most notable in sales smartphone brand is getting a lesser impact because of the high second hand, and even third hand usage.
But, I, myself am more selfish, and prefer Android. I am usually buying upper mid-range phones, but looking for a high-end this time around. As the phones last me 2 years, and I could do more, but I like cutting edge, and better experience. But there are a lot of people who just don't demand so much
Vivo NEX S looks better and best price with futuristic look. I will trade my Iphone X for Vivo NEX S soon.
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2018Really, so your Hello Kitty icon pack is so important that you think everyone need to use it o... moreI'm using Dolphin Browser and sometimes Tor browser. I don't worry about Google knowing what sites I use. it's not like I'm trump.
But I want to use my phone in ADMINISTRATOR mode, not in guest mode, so I can use the terminal emulator and other things.
I usually modify the os to my needs and preferences.
There's a lot of power and potential in these smartphones. I also enjoy pen testing a bit.
Scripting, writing code and testing it on the spot Is the sort of thing I'm looking for when using SMARTphones. not sms and fb selfies.
No, I don't use hello kitty icons, stock S8+ icons are just fine.
I'm not here to attack anyone, I'm just sharing my thoughts with tech geeks like me. You on the other hand seem to be just another default user..
iPhone X and all its variant, still insisted on the ugly wide notch, and the result is a big meh.....sorry Apple I don't want an iPhone at all.
People are really on here trying to justify why they and other ppl buy iPhone - haha...smh
Duel83, 23 Sep 2018Why would i want open source software when i'v seen how much problems that brings when everyth... moreAmen to that. I got so shocked last time i bought an Android phone earlier this year, i had to accept to let google automatically install apps on my phone that i could later delete but only after having tested them. Android has so much unacceptable clauses and restrictions, its like you pay full price for a phone that you dont really own. Then of course i was not allowed to use maps without letting google sell my location to third parties, and changing the search privider to get true hits instead of sponsored search hits was out of the question. For an iPhone user its too hard to accept Android limitations and disadvantages, Apple dont push apps (though they used to) and the ones that are there can be removed, what used to be the more restrictive system is now the most free, we can even search the web for phrases instead of getting hits on whoever paid google more money. Anyway, i guess i buy an android again next year, hope this time i can keep it more than a day before being presented with unacceptable conditions for use.
Duel83, 23 Sep 2018When you Android users stop listing those same things which hardly no-one ever needs and care?... moreLets also remind the haters that iPhones are cheapest to own, rich people can buy android and take the value loss. Its quite mindblowing that a 2 year old iPhone 7 is worth more than a year old S8. Someone is trying to give me an S6, and at the same time people fall in line to buy used iPhone 6. I guess i can afford any android flagship but i dont want to waste so much money, the Xs is much cheaper to own for 2 years, will easily sell for $750, thats 250 loss while Note 9 has already lost at least $300 on their new price in 2 months. iPhone all the way for those who care about saving money.
Alien , 23 Sep 2018Special in what way?
What matters the most in a phone is the software. ios is so damn restric... moreReally, so your Hello Kitty icon pack is so important that you think everyone need to use it on their phones?
What SPECIFIC restrictions are limiting your experience on an iPhone? Maybe you can tell us AFTER you changed your search provider in your chrome browser, or set up chrome to limit tracking and cookies? Or what if you try to say NO to letting Google share/sell your location when using GMaps, can you do that? You cant, so what is the more restrictive ecosystem and how smart are you and your friends really?
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2018What I want apple to change is the ability to freely add or delete your media files without it... moreThats incorrect, you can freely delete the media files directly on the iPhone. Please restrict your complaints to facts.
You can also add things without iTunes connection, just you cant add donwloaded mp3 files or other illegally shared files. I can understand how this is a drawback for heavy media consumers but for the regular users the need to add an MP3 or video collection form a computer is a one-time activity and not something we deal with on a daily basis. Your needs are big but you dont want to do the required steps, is it really THAT much work to copy a few MP4 videos to you phone via iTunes on computer, can you tell us whats making it so much slower? Its definitely NOT slow on my Mac so im inclined to think you are doing something wrong.
Duel83, 23 Sep 2018When you Android users stop listing those same things which hardly no-one ever needs and care?... moreTotally agree with you when it comes to your comments about we should have what we are most comfortable with. Not because of what other people think is best. In my family half is using iPhone of different models and half is using Android from different companies and models and I would say that goes for my friends too. For me I am a Android user but have tried iPhone several times it just turns out it is not for me. The only thing I need to say is that both sides on this topic are often the same kind of persons. Now Android users are throwing crap at iPhone users but the same goes for iPhone users doing the same when it is something about Samsung or other Android phones.
If people just bought what they like and didn't bother so much about what other people is using it would be much easier to read the comments on sites like this both for iOS lovers and Android lovers because would be much less not useful comments lie "I HATE iPhone" or "ANDROID SUCKS" to scroll past to read something useful or informative comments about the subject at hand.

Apple can easier fix this by moving out from itunes ecosystem and provide regular copy/cut and paste system like other phone. But they simply dont want to.
5s was my last apple phone. I am happy with my android now.
$1000 for a phone with silly data transfer system like this is unforgivable and very insulting.
I am in kuwait for 2.5yrs. Kuwaiti people prefer iphone because they have a lot of petro $ but zero technical knowledge. Some even don't know how to operate itunes!!! They have to rely on local 3rd party customer care for many simple reason. Expatriates on the other hand prefer Galaxy S/note series because they know to use their devices upto full potentia.
