Xiaomi seems to be losing the game here, Other sub-brands are entering the market and offering devices at lower cost now SD660 is a older chipset if Oppo can do it with real me pro 2 xiaomi should have been able to deliver it too. I love Xiaomi products however they are making or bringing in too many phones at the same time to capture more market however bringing devices of similar spec which was already launched by themselves few months before is a suicidal move. They need to go back to the drawing board and get back to the market with a product which shouldn't look like an iPhone clone nor they should borrow design from somewhere else. Redmi note 6 pro is not at all an upgrade in anyway it was must for xiaomi to use SD660.
Maybe Xiaomi should start counting backwards and name it redmi note 4 AI neural dynamic bokeh notch for suckers edition
I have 10 online shops that sold it already and lowest price is 200 euro for 3/32GB version.
I would go with Redmi Note 5 4/64GB version for that price for sure. At least it has no ugly useless notch that dont add more useful screen space.
Face unlock would be nice if you could get to use it without changing your region to India too.
I dont understand why have that function on a phone when it's limited to India region only and you can use it when you set your region to India
SadeepaT, 27 Sep 2018Why Xiaomi Why ?To help sell the A2
Can't believe I am saying this, but this is the final nail in the coffin, probably, for Xiaomi's dominance in this segment.
Who, with a sane mind, will buy this over the just launched Realme 2 Pro which is actually cheaper while packing a much powerful chipset.
Please Xiaomi, 2 years of success, and you thinking you are Apple that people are gonna buy your overpriced devices? It's gonna take many, many, many more years for the "mi" logo to command the brand value of the fruit logo.
18:9 -> 19:9 screen ratio ISN'T really an upgrade...
