Hey, just a quick question for anyone, did the Oneplus 3 or 5 sell out before the release of the 3t or 5t?
Kai Sosceles, 02 Oct 2018I work at a K-12 school. We have classrooms with wired speakers. I need to test those speakers... moreSo true. There are millions of scenarios and ecosystems where the versatile 3.5 mm jack performs its job without any fuss or problems. Even audio quality review of the iPhone XS can not be conducted by this site because of it's lack of the 3.5 mm jack.
These people just can't see that the planned obsolescence by companies are just a greedy attempt at increasing their profits.
Anonymous, 02 Oct 2018Dream on , Don't compare this to the bloat and adware plastic poco.Don't say shit when you don't know what you are talking. Bloatware can be removed easily and ads can be disabled easily.. if you don't use MIUI then you don't have rights to comment about that
Walter C. Dornez, 02 Oct 2018I think envious is the wrong word meh, it's the word I wanna use tho , LoL
Avovymouse, 02 Oct 2018calling and texting alone are features, so what're you so envious about against OP brand?I think envious is the wrong word
Anonymous, 02 Oct 2018It is now the one phone with no features.calling and texting alone are features, so what're you so envious about against OP brand?
Haters have obviously not had the luck to use a OnePlus phone , its the only phone I have used for so long with zero issues and slowdowns. It is truly amazing.
Kingslayer, 02 Oct 2018Best bang for your buck since 2014. Cyanogen Mod or Oxygen has always been better than Xiaomi'... moreYea screw the people who spent $50 on a microSD card, $200 for studio wired headphones, and screw people wanting their phones charged from 0-100 in 30 seconds instead of 0-75 in 30 minutes.
Dude, get real. Bluetooth lags, you have to waste your time uploading your stuff onto your new phone if anything happens to your old one, and GOD FORBID you ever get an accidental phone witha battery that's already discharged thus making you wait to get another one. We're going backwards.
Anonymous, 02 Oct 2018100 % agree, the *flagship killer* is dead since the 3T rose the price to being unjustifiable.... moreIt's still half off than most current flagships out there right now. So you would rather pay the extra $400-$500 for just a slightly better camera?
Based on the rising prices of current flagships, OnePlus is still a FLAGSHIP KILLER. We are not going back to $300 unless you want it gimped like the badly named Pocophone. OnePlus has only increased by $200. Not by $400 like other brands. Don't be so cynical.
Ferrari RED OnePlus 6
Best bang for your buck since 2014. Cyanogen Mod or Oxygen has always been better than Xiaomi's MIUI. The gestures might be better on it than stock Android. The 6T will lose headphone jack but gain in-display fingerprint scanner. If it's faster than Vivo's or as fast as the face unlock, then the tradeoff might be worth it.
Headphone jack is great and all. I much prefer having it but many of you need to move on and start using Bluetooth wireless at some point. Going back to wired headphones is like going back to wired controllers for video game consoles. Time to move on. I rarely use my wired headphone jack anymore. That's so 2005-ish.
It's been two years and people are still clinging onto it like notch-less displays, expandable storage, removable battery, IR blaster, or FM radio.
for romanian market was out of stock since the begining of august :( i have to wait for the oneplus 6t, and if it dares not to have a headphone jack i.ll buy the note 9 even tho i hate samsung's UI
uk7866, 02 Oct 2018£519 for a flagship killer phone. Absolutely absurd, the price is in the flagship range ... more100 % agree, the *flagship killer* is dead since the 3T rose the price to being unjustifiable. Why should I miss out on everything except for performance and software just to say I have the mighty "flagship killer", that's hilarious.
Looking forward to the 6T being the same as the 6 but with a € 30 higher price tag
£519 for a flagship killer phone. Absolutely absurd, the price is in the flagship range so why disguise this as being a cheaper budget oriented phone but a flagship worthy device?!? I bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 for less than £400 several months ago and that's a proper flagship.
Anonymous, 02 Oct 2018People crying over the missing headphone jack makes me wonder why are they even using a wirele... moreI work at a K-12 school. We have classrooms with wired speakers. I need to test those speakers as problems pop up. If I don't have a headphone jack on my phone, that means I have to carry some other device that does have one to test these jacks...or as you might be suggesting, change speakers to wireless in ~80 classrooms because while they're still perfectly functional, they're out of fashion on mobile devices.
