The HTC influence is showing. Well, active edge wasn't exactly successful in HTC's U-series.
They must put a warning in the ad smartphone graphic: Bezels in the Graphic will be larger than they appear.

They form the overwhelming huge majority of smartphone users in Korea. That is why Pixel does not appeal to them as they lack many features which a typical smartphone needs.

Such a waste of AD money and time. Would have been better if it parodized instead the iPhone XS/XS Max's ads because frankly, its an iphone copycat in terms of lack of features (no micro sd slot, no dual sim, no headphone jack, small battery (below 4000mAh), and in terms of prestige marketing and obscene pricing.
notafanboy, 02 Oct 2018What kind of stupid teaser is that? Who does it appeal to? The Japanese. Still 10 million times better than some Microsoft ads.

Google Pixels always fails to impress in paper. It has the world's best camera algorithm but just have single lens for its main shooter. When the competitors going at 8GB/512 GB combo at much better price I am not sure how Pixels going to impress this time.
Also Google should have some USP to have an edge over its competitors like Samsung Note's S-Pen or Dual Aperture shooter, LG's Triple Cam setup or Quad DAC, Sony's 4K display, Oppo's clean design with Pop-up camera, Oneplus' under screen FP sensor or its great value for money as such.
