Will this improve your mobile phone call or reception. No it will not. So here you are playing a game. So what. Where is the next software development coming from that will make this a truely personal device as opposed to a tarted up little gaming machine.

On light tasks it will use that 5th core. But on heavy gaming usage it will use all 4cores. Now the question is.
How much gaming time it will have?
Should i keep it plug in charge while playing?
Because the PSVITA or PSP2 has only 3 to 5 hrs of battery gaming.

They need to optimized it properly and efficiently. I wonder how the battery gonna manage on heavy gaming usage. So far the graphic looks already awesome. They are like those 128MB VRAM Games.

1.5ghz quad core with 4.7 inch screen. Raises some serious doubt about its battery performance. I think, its too soon for a cell phone to carry a quad core processor...the logical step would be to find an acceptable battery performance that could last at least 20 hours of continuos use. Personally, i would buy a dual core phone that lasts at least 20 hours of continuos use than a quad core phone that lasts just 5 hours.

Battery life - One hour. Shouldn't they fine-tune the dual core phones first? I hope HTC improves sound recording in videos.

Maja, 08 Nov 2011The current sensation has shocking battery life. and it only has dual core 1ghz and only 4.3 ... moreIt's actually better than the current gen of duals; Tegra 3 has 5 cores and for light tasks (standby, wifi etc) the extra "companion core", clocked at a mere 400MHz is the only core powered on, however, once u start a tasking process ie browsing, games etc. the other 4 cores come on.

hi, long time no c. imho i will agree with the opinion on battery life...no use to have power spec phone if battery can last only 8 hours.i am of the view that such spec should be embeded in a tablet/big screen devices-not smart phone. with the coming of the tablet i dont see any use of the smart phone anymore...they should return to their original function...a phone. dont you all realize that every new smart phone that mushroom into the market have very little improvements put into it...waste of time. tq
