Azuz, 08 Nov 2011Quad Core for a Cell Phone and Tiny OS Android...... Total Nonsense..Wow the iPhone 5 is already outdated in light of these specs.

kurikong, 07 Nov 2011am I the only one who noticed that the back cover says HTC Sense?u don't know much about htc...it is "with htc sense" not htc sense....
Quad-core and still at 1Gb RAM ?? I think the phone would have 2GB of RAM ...
4.7 Screen - WOW looks good
However after using the SII for about 4 months what is needed is
1) A Stylus - using swipe extensively burns your finger tip ....and you cannot do anything accurate on it
2) Dual SIM
3) Must come out with a Pro version that has a slider QWERTY
That back looks hideous, I hope they will change their mind about it
I am saving for this little powerhouse, what a beast of a smartphone..I wonder what Samsung will reply with?
W:oW While doing final research before ordering Samsung Galaxy Note you hit me with this phone?!! Damn, looks like this purchase will have to wait and keep the money for Edge... meanwhile I'll try hard to enjoy my old phones. I still have my Desire and Galaxy I but they're kinda trashed. Can't wait to find out more about Edge and thank you GSMA for stopping me wasting my money lol.
The hardware is amazingly impressive, but Android will need to be optimized for the quadcore environment, as will the apps, to really gain the performance in the real world these specs should deliver.
[deleted post]What are you doing here? If you don't need high-spec mobile, then just keep using Nokia 5110, and get lost.
[deleted post]Actually Sammy invests their money for developing new 32nm node exynos(Tegra 3 is 40nm) that consumes less power and higher clock efficiency.
Plus Sammy is one of the leader in battery cell market.
No wonder GS2's battery life is great and one of the best among the high-end smartphones.
Meanwhile, HTC doesn't invest money in battery cells, high power efficient cpu or even screen. They are just an assembling parts that they bought. Making heavy and power draining pretty looking UT doesn't help improving their battery life.
AnonD-21665, 08 Nov 2011Yes it is a serious joke. Quad core is noting but a great battery drainer . At present no andr... moreI beg to differ. Quad core doesn't neccessary mean less efficiency. And who in GSMarena here has touched a quad core tablet or phone to comment on the efficiency? A quad core can consume more power but if its more efficient, thats all that counts.
Azuz, 08 Nov 2011Quad Core for a Cell Phone and Tiny OS Android...... Total Nonsense..Were you the one that mentioned dual core for smartphones is rediculous?
I demand a 26 inch screen and a 4 metr HDMI cable. I want to play movies for the passengers in the bus.
you can bet that when iphone5 is announced this summer that the quad core galaxy nexus will be announced too.
