A quad-core in a cellphone??? is like a deepblue computer in my room... its realy necesary??? i dont think so...
To everyone complaining about battery life..
To my understanding.. Tegra 3 has 5 cores in total... 4 main cores, and one low powered core for standby...
So if you're just leaving the mobile in your pockets, it'll be using the one single core that is supposed to be very power efficient..
Correct me if I am wrong.. didn't bothered Googling it to confirm.
lozza, 08 Nov 2011this is the beast the galaxy nexus should have been !!!This wont be in the shops until about June of next year. Look back to when the Nexus was "leaked".
People saying this is what the Galaxy Nexus should have been are forgetting the nexus is right around the corner and this might be almost 6 months away.
Samsung already said the Galaxy S3 will be announced at CES in january, and they are working on their own Exynos quadcore rather than using tegra3. They also developed a new and better version of mobile RAM.
A Galaxy S3 with quad-exynos, 2GB RAM, 64GB storage and an HD SAMOLED plus display at 4,3" - I wouldn't be surprised if that's the specs we'll see come January. And I will rob a bank to pay for it.
2012 is gonna be an insane year for Android phones!!!!!!
It sgetting ridiculous,we nedd more quality components from HTC not more useless power draing features.
android fan, 08 Nov 2011very very big screen for a smartphone its not a tablot 4.7 !!!! 4.3 is the better screen si... moreUnfortunately for you, the GS3 will most likely have a bigger screen, more along the lines of 4.6-4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD. The specs of each galaxy successor will double if the Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 are anything to go by. Come late 2013, if the Galaxy S4 exists, I'm thinking more along the lines of an exynos 3.3 ghz chip with 2gb or more of RAM. Screen size will probably take the form of flexible displays with gesture recognition software with new holographic augmented reality touch displays, ok that last part is purely science fiction but you can bet by the end of the decade we'll probably have something along those lines.
There is no point of quad core unless htc come out with something like Motorola's webtop or lapdock technology. With virtual machine capable of mounting entire windows os
Wow!! Samsung I hope your taking notes.
Wow! This is amazing.. I was wrong again.. Sorry!
Let's ask the people from the year 2004.. What kind of phone do they have.. 200mhz processor..
Wait! Nokia and windows phone still living in that year!
Nevermind.. Htc! Comeon! Give us the update soon for incredible S!
4.7" display?! Come ooon, this is ridiculous! This is supposed to be a phone, not a coffee tray, right? And quad core? How much time will the battery hold? 3 hours, maybe? Get a grip, htc!
Htc design is awesome..slick and countoured...the only thing that the phone manufacturer never realize is to improve the quality of the built in flash..why not using the xenon as well as the digital camera flash
another dull looking phone with minor update from HTC, i wonder they solve battery life issue.
This is more stupid than it looks like.
Quad cores when they don't know how to fully utilize dual cores? What for? Stupid, synthetic benchmarks and marketing. I don't even mention about the battery life.
very very big screen for a smartphone
its not a tablot 4.7 !!!!
4.3 is the better screen size
hope sgs3 dosn't have such big screen
Tegra? I thought HTC only uses Qualcomm chips? And those buttons... Gingerbread?
Fake or not?
this is the ultrabeast the world was waiting for.....
Apple will release this same specsheet in iPhone 10s in the year 2017 and tell the world they are the first to do it.
They will pay websites for biased reviews and try to sue HTC for being 6 years ahead of Apple "innovation".
Quad Core for a Cell Phone and Tiny OS Android...... Total Nonsense..
