Why can't they make a high-end phone, CPU wise, with a normal-phone-size screen?!?!?!
Wtf? Am I the only one wanting this?
3.7" or 4" screen on a dual-core Android!
wait n see, 08 Nov 2011I'll wait for HTC Edge S, which will most probably come few months after this :)I'll wait for HTC Edge HD ;)) after the HTC Edge S

CynicalParrot, 08 Nov 2011One word to describe this... horrideous. Most ugly phone I have seen for quite some time! It's an HTC and ugliness is their trademark. My GS2 looks 10x better.

CynicalParrot, 08 Nov 2011One word to describe this... horrideous. Most ugly phone I have seen for quite some time!It has a screen and a bezel, just like any other smartphone...
So please take your hating exaggeration out of this comment section.
Zorodroid, 08 Nov 2011You're right when it comes to touch screen and app quality with better games no phone match iP... moreso lets face it ! we have a touch screen phone (apple was clever enough to realise it! but after 5 years no one got it right,) i dont care if it is going to take 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,1 sec faster to open a app, i want a phone which does exactly wot my thumbs meanted it to do,
1 thing i think you got wrong .. quality app is exactly the same in both devices

Akshay, 08 Nov 2011First of all, quad core for a smartphone makes no sense. It will suck all juice from the batte... moreQuad core processors have a lower power consumption than single core ones as the load is spread across the cores. Therefore each core doesn't have to work so hard and uses less power. By your thinking, Apple are rubbish because their 4s uses dual core which if obviously runs on a less effecient OS than all single core smartphones.
[deleted post]that is the problem with android fanboy, lets not close our eyes ! never had a iphone, but my friends have it . most of them , had a htc hd2, ( amazing phone , loved it) but c'mmon lets be honest , htc hd2 with dobble mhz and it still not as smooth as idevice, now duo core n it still not smooth . (( i dont think the hardware is a issue, the problem is the software i believe.
Why? please show me the logic for quad core processor on a mobile telephone. A tablet I can understand as its function is to be able to process data at fast speeds. This into a handset will only add another problem when customers hate the fact their phone is slowing down, will drain battery a lot more and and will mean its used as a tablet instead of a phone.
Zorodroid, 08 Nov 2011Quad core HTC I bit that the next iPhone 5 whatever the name with quad core 800 MHz not even I... moreAnd another thing 80% of iphone 4 is made by Samsung, and the IPS screen is made by LG. And Apple did not invent the smartphone with touch screen so you can't say Samsung is copying from apple, HTC and Compaq were the first to invent a true Smartphone.
But again your a big apple fanatic lunatic to realize that....
Akshay, 08 Nov 2011First of all, quad core for a smartphone makes no sense. It will suck all juice from the batte... moreanyhow i think the batttery life wont matter too much because i think companies like samsung and htc will bring out wayyy better batteries than the current 1800 types... if they stick with that battery..the phone defiantely wont last for a few hours with a quad core unless they built it with less energy consumption then i dont know. LETS HOPE THAT THEY IMPROVE BATTERY STRUCTURE TO PAIR WITH THE PHONE.
AnonD-29528, 08 Nov 2011agree if you . but i still think galaxy s2 is better than iphone 4s .. or any of them ..the on... moreYou're right when it comes to touch screen and app quality with better games no phone match iPhone I own bothe iPhone and gs2 gs2 it's a fantasy phone spically with super Amoled plus that give you more vivd color than any phone display and 4.3 inch that make web browsing and watching movie in the phone a big joy, but still when it comes to touch screen that response so fast again I said iPhone :)
Ahmed, 07 Nov 20111GHz is enough for a mobile No difference between Galaxy S2 an Xperia arc..lol now that was a stupid comment xD there's no difference with both shutdown right? because when you turn them on there's no resemblance...
HTC is a spammer they realse a new phone every 15 minutes instead of focusing on quality and customer support they just want to sell and don't care about anything else if you go and buy their flagship phone now and check back in 15 minutes you will find that the have a new flagship phone! I hope RIM and Nokia and HTC dissapper soon.
Akshay, 08 Nov 2011First of all, quad core for a smartphone makes no sense. It will suck all juice from the batte... moreAlready done my friend. You can multi task on your phone as you can on your computer. With Quad core you may even see better battery life due to the power management system and of course better technology used to build the CPU. The extra processing power will give the developers much more head room to create unimaginable applications for us all. I can't wait to see what Tegra 4 will be all about :)
Gingerbread Buttons? Really?
Zorodroid, 08 Nov 2011Quad core HTC I bit that the next iPhone 5 whatever the name with quad core 800 MHz not even I... moreagree if you . but i still think galaxy s2 is better than iphone 4s .. or any of them ..the only thing galaxy s2 loses is in smothness, touch screem which turns to me to be a big issue as i like to play games on it .
