It doesnt matter if your country not releasing the N9, update release is according to region. Some UK owners with a European variant device have gotten the update.
Aust & Asia should be next
Mark, 09 Nov 2011If you need to ask me why live multitasking cards are better than icons, you blew it. really, ... moreSo you value perceived quality much more than actual quality? You said the cover was flimsy and even bent in half, it doesn't even show any signs of fatigue.
jimbob, 09 Nov 2011so because the UK is not supported does that mean i cannot update then ? even if the phone is ... moreWe should be able to get updates, without any problems regardless of the country, where we live.
aaptk, 09 Nov 2011well, it doesnt matter if the phone's product code is from a supported countryso because the UK is not supported does that mean i cannot update then ? even if the phone is Australian
aaptk, 09 Nov 2011well, it doesnt matter if the phone's product code is from a supported countryIf Nokia distributes updates in waves, per country, then it might matter. I personally check for updates often, but nothing yet.
jimbob, 09 Nov 2011hi my software version is V10.2011.34-1_PR_005 I believe its Australian stock ?If you will tell me product code, I will be able to say, which country. The product code I think is printed on the sim card tray, along with where it was made.
ACI, 09 Nov 2011Where is your device from, which product code you have?hi my software version is V10.2011.34-1_PR_005

Graham update will make the 700 euros be more logical in that mess that surrounds it for support, guess what revealed 3 will be smooth
I have seen some posts from other user with product codes from Australia and they did get update. There was one user from US with an Australian product code, that had the update. If they are releasing the update in waves, maybe they do it by country of origin.

TC, 08 Nov 2011I think you still are a liar pretending "your sister" have an S2!
S2 have one of th... moreN9 edges sharp? Nope, your hands sensitive skin or what. Accidental swipe off, nope either, I need to intentionally swipe for it to go off to next screen.
S2 screen I need to stretch..... yes, not everyone go ga ga over screens above 4 inches, not practical. Not everyone have large hands & pockets like you all westerners
TC, 08 Nov 2011On my S2 I can have two, or more, movies running at the same time without having to pause the ... moreIt's not pausing in the background, it's playing in the background.
Anyway, as stated many times in N9 thread if you consider S2 is so great, go to S2 thread, this thread is about the N9 update for N9 owners, lol. Samsung/Android fans should be more concerned about competition from Iphone 4S, naturally N9 sales will not be comparable to S2.
As for Samsung, as I already told you in N9 & other Nokia threads, it would not last 2 years if I'm using it, as experienced with every Samsung electronic device/item I have owned. Unless of course you give me a free S2, then I'll take it & sell.
