Facebook is dying.
Security breach, hackers selling accounts on some websites at $3 above, ZUCC.
Why would I care this app anyway?
sr777, 06 Oct 2018Install opera mini and browse the Facebook mobile version. Game over. Exactly?.. dont know why extra app to install. I always access FB via "firefox focus"
Once Facebook was one of the best way of communication. Now it’s just a television. You get less quality more unwanted quantity of data. Facebook is dead. I deactivated in 2013.
AnonD-793004, 06 Oct 2018Usually it's the data like your preferences inside the app, pictures and videos that's cached.... moreYes I know what cache is, but data is 260MB without cache. Facebook has machine learning AI, but 260MB is too much for preferences. Photos/videos probably aren't stored in data section.
Remember before, 3MB for app/data in java2me phone was enough for all features.
iPhone SE users finally get something! :D
Good news for iOS
Macbeth, 05 Oct 2018I see no point in Facebook LiteTrue. I can't even see point in Facebook.
Nicknam, 05 Oct 2018Facebook app on Android needs too much resources. It consumes : - 62MB only for app - 260... moreUsually it's the data like your preferences inside the app, pictures and videos that's cached. You may have noticed the app takes time to reload the content if you clear the cache.
Pointless. Since FB is pretty much on the decline. If you want to access FB, just use your browser.
Fb is dead
I see no reason in using this app
Friendster is much more useful than this shitty app.
I find FB very useful before when I was still using it, but I haven't used it for months now and I still find it ok without the platform, FB Lite is a preferable option tho coz it uses less than 10mb of your memory unlike the FB regular which can take up to 600mb
i use Facebook lite on my blu studio xl. The regular version eats up my phone space it grew up to 600 MB. but this lite version is small but you can't do facebook live
IOS one has shitty adds
I dont like it on android, rather the real one. but i do like messenger lite.
Macbeth, 05 Oct 2018I see no point in Facebook LiteCan’t blame you. I see no point in Facebook itself
Facebook Lite is the only way to experience mobile facebook, imo.
Besides entering the website itself on the phone.
Facebook app on Android needs too much resources.
It consumes :
- 62MB only for app
- 260MB for data
- 180MB for cache
I am wondering what data is stored there.
Remember old times before Android/iOS, when Facebook app on java2me phone used less than 2MB.
