              EdB, 10 Nov 2011HTC & Samsung release new phones every week. They release new flagships every month, there... moreEveryone pays same price for an iPhone even a year after release when it is about 10 months outdated. That's where the term "over-priced" came from.

                  The problem now is that with the advent of Android 4.0 - there is no need for buttons...
                  SO NOW
                  All phones are going to look pretty much identical...
                  It has to be a rectangle, with rounded edges - that's a given...
                  It really has to come down to;
                  a) performance
                  b) screen
                  c) materials used
                  HTC Sense for me is just a bit too restrictive, a bit too fluffy and a bit too OTT...
                  I'm hoping that we get an Xperia Play 2 next year or at least a premium-made handset that doesn't have last year's specs (yes SonyE I'm talking about you and your Arc)...
                  It should be a good year for upgrading next year that's for sure...
                  If Sammy release GS3 with metal and a real premium feel it'll wipe the floor with everyone, but I fear it'll be plastic fantastic again (nothing wrong with that, I have a GS2 at the moment, but now I want something MORE, something UNIQUE, something QUALITY!)

                  Who cares how thin the phone is - we want QUALITY...

                  And to my mind - this 'ville' is mega-boring and looks just like every other grey HTC product... and of course has this year's specs..

                  (HD screens HAVE to be the next big thing)

                    HTC & Samsung release new phones every week. They release new flagships every month, thereby driving down the price of the previous flagship in only a month, whilst the iPhone holds its value for nearly a year.
