i had a windows mobile before 2 years.i will n-e-v-e-r buy a microsoft os mobile in my life.before i buy it i saw fantastic video clips for the 650 euros phone. such this one.
AnonD-1905, 10 Nov 2011It's the Nokia N9 for God's sake.... What's so new????+1
I have Iphone 4 and I am dumping it for NOKIA LUMIA 800. Cant wait to have it. Never thought that Nokia shall take its lost place, the 1 place. Bravo Nokia, Bravo Microsoft.
Sorry i meant Google Nexus S, not Galaxy Nexus. Too much Galaxy stuff going in the market right now it messed with my head when i was writing.
Nokia is really back with Symbian Belle, Nokia N9 and now even WP8 soon and the fabolous design just take all other brands out in the woods.
So nice to see Nokia fighting back.
Well, they have to put it like there was no N9. You just cannot say that we started to design the phone by copying the old. You don't sell new phones to a new market like that. If you look at the prototype phones the camera placement is the same as N9 and there is no dedicated camera button on the magenta prototype.
The phone looks amazing and mine is set aside in my local 3 store for wednesday.
this is why nokia is great they dont need to put in battery killing dual core or huge screens they build quality phones that which are a pleasure to use or just look at and NOBODY matches them for those things
I have both a Galaxy Nexus S with Android and HTC HD7 with WP7. My personal experience is that Windows Phone 7 is far superior to Android. Android is extremely laggy and freezes more than what acceptable. The advantage Android has it it's Android Market and the amount of apps. Windows Phone 7 is far more stable than Android and more inutive with apps that has multiple slide menus etc. My HTC HD7 has never lagged or froze even once, while my Nexus S laggs very often, so does SG2 (not fault of hardware).
The only reason i still use Android is because Windows Phone does not have Skype yet, and i use Skype everyday. When Windows Phone gets Skype i will throw my super laggy Android so far in the back of the closet that it will be lost.
Hey i gotta say its almost a inspiring video, but its all just marketing and hype, it will soon die and be obsolete like the rest of nokia. Sales will prove it
AnonD-4697, 10 Nov 2011very very nice!!!!! Thy is why I always said Nokia phones are well maded, are almost perfec... moreYup this phone design is simply phenomenal. It is quite funny how the Android fanboys here, are completely blind to that, and are still quoting tech specs mwahahahaha. Some people just don't get it I guess.
All that for that ?? For a phone looking like a toy for a 6 years old ??
Samsung or SE make highly sophisticated and classy phones and don't need to brag about it in a boring video where people think they are brain surgeons...
This phone is so beautiful!
Seems to me that with Motorola with Google on its side, and Nokia with Microsoft partnership, Samsung is left a bit out in the lurch. They must be mad. Especially with such amazing designs like the Lumia 800 and Razr.
I'm pleased for M$ and Nokia its just a shame they didn't apply the same thinking with meego.
If the body was intended for Lumia 800 instead of N9, I'm pretty sure Lumia 800 would also sport a front facing camera. But does it really matter?
This is nothing more than a marketing video. Enjoy it.
best phone design, Nokia Rocks! I will dump my HTC to get it ;-) high level of PPI, good sound, not as HTC...
LoL is funny to see all the Haters came from Android, like they are afraid of something I don't know...I can't crucify an OS just because "I don't like it"
For example too many android users say Android is better because use Flash Mobile....But NEWS flash mobile and for TV is going to disappear. Die, Finish, Finito, Se Acabo....And I said this some comments ago..The future is HTML5... http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/10/adobe-abandoning-flash-player-for-tvs-as-well/ So? What's the big deal of flash here!!!
Users need to have real argues not just some heater comments....
