Darocka, 11 Oct 2018No 3.5 jack, means one plus 6 is my choice, because i use my phone for my PA system...which mean... moreIt's 2018. The outrage for phone losing the headphone jack is like getting mad at a phone losing infrared. The issue I had (and still have) with Apple doing it - is they continue to do so to sell their ridiculously addons. Their earbuds are so overpriced. That clearly left a bitter taste in most people's mouth and now removal of any ohone's headphone jack leads to a feeling that is synonymous with Apple but really, break it down... it's not that big of a deal. You can get a great pair of wireless headphones for 20 quid. Who wants to deal with wired headphones anyway?

And the fingerprint scanner - who cares? It's like my S8. The fingerprint position sucks, so I don't use it. I use one of the other security options available. It's really not that big of a deal people.

Under the screen fingerprint scanner was so bad in Vivo X21ud, that vivo updated the software to turn on the face unlock when the finger is pressed against the scanner. Face unlock works most of the time, except when I shave off my mustache and phone fails to identify me.

All I can see is people complaining. Look on the bright side, there might be some nice things, like a better camera, android pie, tiny notch. And they might have made the InDis Fingerprint sensor better than on the oppo/vivo?...

It's a static fingerprint reader ffs. You still have to touch one specific spot on the phone, and it's not even close to being in the best location from an ergonomic standpoint. It also performs significantly worse than traditional capacitive readers.

Once again, the dumb masses are making inferior mobile technology popular.

I have read all the news about OnePlus 6T. I see in the comments column that most of them all blaspheme OnePlus right now, I don't know. I do not understand why OnePlus does not think carefully about what its users still want and need. Even they sacrifice one feature for the other.

OnePlus and it's CEO are blatantly misleading us on the in-display FP scanner and are forcing their decisions upon the customers.

No microSD card slot, notch and now the removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which they blame on the in-display FP scanner. True copycat of Apple's style (even the blame-game). The CEO also has the audacity to say that we will forget about the 3.5 mm jack after we use the in-display FP scanner. How are they even connected?

And to show how wrong he is, here is the Vivo Nex S. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a larger 4000 mAh battery, a notchless screen and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

There's nothing that OnePlus can justify for increase in overall Cost of the Phone...

If you talk about New Notch display then V11 Pro has it with Underscreen Fingerprint Scanner... With alot cheaper Cost...

Only 500 mAh Battery is a new addon...

6T is going to be Wasted...

The one on the Vivo Nex S is mediocre at best. If OP6T has similar one, then it'll be a massive downgrade compared to the snappy fingerprint reader on previous OnePlus phones.
