Fayth, 16 Oct 2018great, add Adobe Illustrator CC and I'm ready to ditch my laptopWho's betting Adobe is being paid to NOT port the full Illustrator to iOS and Android? I do. Apple still needs to sell overpriced MacBooks and iMacs. Microsoft still needs to sell PCs and Laptops for W10 Licences.
google and apple tried years to convince everyone to dump their PC/laptop and switch to touch only devices. Then 5 years later, they produce tablets with Keyboards ??
Sounds like some b.s. going on here.

Also, it's 2018 and Apple still could not make a spillproof keyboard for Macs.

Laptop will not die. Its a form factor. CPU / GPU might change. ARM or x86 might change. Even OS might change. But the form factor remain the same.
If laptop disappears, Its like forcing everyone to use spoon and fork to eat steak. Sure can be done.. but there's better way and companies will revisit the form factor for sure. Theres always a need for keyboard / mouse. Not 100% of the users are graphics designer, artist.

It was born obsolete. With half the single core performance of the equivalent iPad/Apple SoC it was probably closer to a low end chip. And that was upon release, imagine how much worse it would seem when compared to the new iPad pro (that would release just in time to make use of this Photoshop edition)
There is a reason why they first release it in iPads. Apple is the only one who takes Tablets seriously , no wonder they are also the only ones to make increasing revenues from them year after year.
Compare this with the Joke that is Google. Her tablets were atrocious and instead of improving them (tablet friendly apps, lower weight, more power/battery) killed them completely and then replaced them with netbooks (which instantly bottomed, because nobody asked for or wanted netbooks ... like ever).
Google is like older Microsoft. A machine of bad ideas, all her good ideas came in the first decade of its existence and ever since it is a dumpster fire.

I always use my tablet propped up on its stand, especially when using the stylus, so much higher weight is acceptable. I can't imagine the stability issues using it handheld.
Looks like this means creating pure sRGB content for pure sRGB consumption is really becoming a thing now. The forces that push for popularity of a wider gamut is even weaker...

AnonD-558092, 15 Oct 2018Can't wait for cracks on Android. A Tab S4 will definitely be worth its price for this. That makes no sense. It is mid range hardware at best.
This is built for iPads the only real tablet out there (apps optimized for it, specs that are actually better than phones').
It's so sad that google dropped the ball in this. Apple is killing them with ever increasing revenues on their tablets. They wanted to promote their Chromebooks and now they entered the zone of pain by producing laptops (laptops are dying).
Finally, i've been using Affinity photo iPad, it's great alternative for Photoshop, but i like Photoshop workflow better. It's great to finally have a real Photoshop designed for touch interface. Affinity shows how well it can work, so i hope this will be atleast as good as Affinity.
Can't wait for cracks on Android. A Tab S4 will definitely be worth its price for this.
