It has got more resources to manage multiple platforms. If you cant believe means, a survey says 26% of parts in apple iphones are from samsung. Ok Forget it, but we love nokia:-):-)

Open source is the future of computing and Html5 is the furure of web, not just the web, also the apps... Tizen hits both.. :-):-) lets see how well samsung+intel push... And about this phone: i guess it will be next version of symbian code name starting with 'C' after A:Anna, B:Belle..

I only listed a few things as necessity and others as 'big plus', why would that be asking too much??!! There're several phones out there that already met all my requirement except for the camera part, which is not a difficult thing to add since I didn't even mention the phone's thickness, weight, or price!
NOKIA, or whoever you are, you should go take a reading lesson before you respond to someone's reasonable comment with insult.

The Lumia 800 will be released today but know way will i be switching to Windows because its to Restricted,Bluetooth useless on Windows an this is still one of the Best applications on Symbian phones for transfer things between phones,Nokia N8 alot better than the Lumia 800,an having to use Zune instead of Nokia ovi player,Nokia have made the wrong choice switching to Windows until they can get rid of the Restrictions using Windows

I love my N8 not had one single problem with it, If they can top it WOW, I am a fan of Nokia Phones have done for years and over the years owned many Looking forward to Belle coming to my N8 quite excited to see a N9 and Hope that the Better phone is Symbian/meego NOT win7 Or android I love android but Nokia is synonymous with Symbian platform yes sometimes have faults but I still love it.I await more news with hope.......

hmmm ... I wish if a phn lyk ' N8 ' wud be released in windows platform ... Cuz ive been facing loads and loads of probs wid my N8 ... But still i love it nd m waiting fr its nct version to come ... :) 8mp cam wid xenon flash is perfect ...

I believe that meego has more power than any other OSes.I would go for N9,only if the developers are keen on buiding lots of apps for meego, just like android

Next year? To late. Before Christmas it would be acceptable for Nokia. They should know that Nokia fans are tired of waiting. More than half of a year waiting for Anna, wish didn't make that much of a difference. Nokia will perish if continues like this.

it would be better if the phone comes on advanced symbian. For mobile ,windows didnt do great. it sucks.Symbian is faaar better than WP7.5

bada has already proved a disappointment, with salesfigures half than budgeted. If MeeGo-powered Tizen proves a valid path, it is set to replace both Android and bada as main OS.

Their approach with the N8 camera module was spot on: big sensor, good optics. And the results spoke for themselves, with images comparable to a good P&S camera. Hopefully they'll apply the same to their new flagship line of WP phones.

Focus on software,It should be stable,responsve, screen should be amoled,camera should be 8mp or 10 mp with AUTO FOCUS CARL ZEIS and WITH ZEONON FASH. Ram should be greater than 512 mb.

Hi. I'm from vietnam. This information is very good. i think we don't need camera resolution more than 12mp of Nokia n8. I want it still 12mp but i hope nokia will make more improve in quality picture with higher ISO and some special effect as HDR, panorama integrated. i bad on english, hope everyone don't reprimand.

It should be completely different and unique while compared with other smart phones.. A front facing camera and qwerty keyboards will be better and meego will be the best for it.. 16 mp camera or more will be amazing and dual core processors with 1.5 Ghz. will rock the phone.. Dual booting will also be great..

i prefer symbian than windows os in this phone. i hope the camera still has xenon flash and zoom up to 20-30x. or maybe just make a bar phone like n82
