Nokia Lumia Sucks !!!
Also Windows Phone 7.5 Sucks !!!!
I prefer Symbian or MAEMO or MEEGO is far better than any other OS.

ok so maybe this nokia wud be a bit fantasy like but some specs i wud like to see would defo be these
4.5 inch Hd oleophobic gorilla glass, super amoled + Screen
14.2MP rear Camera - using latest tech and a larger censor then n8 something closer to digital compact camera.
3.15 front facing.
HDR camera skills
latest android or windows update.
usb otg support along with usb 3 support.
mhl Support for hd tvs
internal storage options 64Gb, with support for 64gb micro sd
Glonass gps support
slim design, 8-9mm thickness with designs optionally like the nokia n9 but updated
all major codec support
i think the processor doesnt need to be any more then 2.5ghz dual core as there is not the programs to run this much power on a phone.
core management system to shut down cores not used kind of like an airplane mode for system processers.
2gb ram 2gb rom.
maybe a little way off yet but i think that if nokia could get this kind of spec sheet with a smooth O.S i think they could easily beat any competition around and seriously get back into the running to once again be the king of phones.
i am a galaxy s 2 owner and will stick with samsung till further notice till this phone is released
The only reasons why y didnt buy N 8 despite great mobile camera is poor ui integration with human, small low res display!
What would be nice is better os. made for geek peoples ( open, reliable, furiously fast, easy loading loot of usable apps, with great sw updating and full flash support in web b. ), bigger screen ( 4-4'7 sey at least 720p res. sey CBD like on E7), better battery life ( 2000mA ), camera with better bigger optics and processor bump ( dual 1,8Ghz, 1,5G ram... ). Rest off N8s specs should not be gonn.
Bat like nokia doo next successor will bee too late on market and with too low specs and lot of compromises. They should learn from Giant Samsung or tiny Htc...and their own mistakes!
But what a hack... Will see if they are listening to us...
Ex N73 user...
What ever smart phone you release next should have
should feel good on hands
and should have lots of application support
and should have options to change looks
main thing is change the qwerty look in touch mobile phones
better internal memory and of course RAM and processor speed too
lumnia 800 is the awesome but it should be in affordable price......
Nokia Rocks but need bit changes .................
SFAN, 15 Nov 2011I am pretty sure that N8 successor will be running Windows Phone Mango, Tango, or Apollo. If it's next year, say by Q3 knowing nokia, the software will hopefully be Apollo Windows Phone 8 or Windows 8 for mobile judging by what Steve Ballmer said for windows 8 for smartphone ecosystem. We will truly have an awesome flagship device not only for Nokia, but for the Windows Phone OS. I'm hoping for a screen of 4.7 inches with a 1080p display and a PPI of 352, quad core is out of the question with windows phone so a Dual Core II 1.5 Ghz processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. If anyone does cameras great for phones, it's Sony Ericsson and Nokia, here's hoping they push for a 16-18mp shooter.
Thats why i am not to crazy about diving in a buying the Lumia 800,as the N8 or Symbian3 phones will be having Belle soon, just hope we can get something like the N9 will with 12 or 16 megapixel camera with optical zoom, hope its announce in Febuary an released with 2-3 weeks an the N8 took over 6-8 months before we finally got it released, but what a Superb camera mobile worth more than the Lumia 800
indeed.. usb 3.0, bluetooth 3.0, LTE/4G, front facing camera at least 2 to 3 MP. windows phone.
I really wouldn´t mind getting it in Meego, but WP would suffice, as long as the UI is fluid and easy to use and all the same functions are there (FM-transmitter etc.).
Before asking for more MP, ask how big you print (You do print don't you?)
8MP is plenty big enough, in fact a 8.9 (Approx) MP sensor in 16:9 would give a nice down-sampling for 1080p video.
Keep the size big enough, and you'll be on a winner
Yes, before you ask I am a photographer / videographer (Amateur)
Whatever software your 2012 flagship phone uses, it better be:
1) Reliable, stable.
2) Speedy, responsive.
And it would be a big plus if it:
1) Supports Flash.
2) Has lots of Apps available.
3) Has long battery life.
Last but not least, this phone should have outstanding reception and call quality with good background noise reduction. And of course, a camera sensor that's at least as large as the N8, the megapixel count doesn't mean much if the sensor itself is small!
Tizen, tinzen or whatever they call it won't be anything big. Samsung already has two systems.
Android and Bada and they have to invent something for their goverment as their primary systems.
They won't have resources for another system.
Shame, because MeeGo is truly special and great system.
I don't care what system will they put in the new N8.
If the camera is even better than now...it will be spectacular.
Sky, 15 Nov 2011The specs are as such
- 16 MP Camera with 1080p
- 4.3 inch Curved glass display (like N9)
-... more> The specs are as such
> - 16 MP Camera with 1080p
If they want to make real killer camera they should reduce MP to 10 or 8 MP and keep same size of CCD with newer CCD technology. Now that would be awesome camera capable for dark snapshoots even without flash.
I don't see any purpose of increasing MP to 16, it will reduce area of each pixel (higher pixel density), and files will be much larger without any serious benefit.
Of course, main problem are costumers, because most of them don't know that higher MP count does not mean better picture!
To follow that philosophy it is required to perform mass education, to correct false knowlage initiated mostly by advertising propaganda.
I am pretty sure that N8 successor will be running Windows Phone Mango, Tango, or Apollo.
It would be stupid to put anything more than 12MP sensor into phone. Who needs more than 12MP? I'd definitely prefer 8-12 MP camera of good quality to a 16 MP with poor quality.
i've been i symbian fan now since 2003 and its the only os i have ever used, but i am hoping nokias successor to the n8 is not running on symbian because i have to admit that it is lagging behind other os, and with nokia now going with windows symbain will just get less apps and suport available `
I hope the successor or n8 should have the Symbian Balle or Windows 7 OS as in Lumia 800 & 710.
Nokia + Microsoft = Super Smart Phone. I hope Nokia N8 successor does have higher MP nd optical zoom. nd it should have front facing camera.
