I don't care what os. I want the os which can support .apk .sis and .sisx file thats the os I wanted :D android and symbian work together? that will be good. If meego can support android file and symbian file type THAN MEEGO will do
no os can handle higher mega pixels camera than symbian. Symbian rocks
@calvary...you are lying...i have both phones...Nokia n8 and Samsung wave s8500...trust me wave doesn't even come close to n8 in still photos...may be in videos...i usually take similar shots on both phone...just zoom out...Samsung photos are so washed out...even my old Samsung Omnia hd is much better than wave in photography...the wave though has better UI...but with belle, my Nokia n8 will get a better UI
I hope the N8 successor will be a Meego phone that will kick ass so much Nokia would have to courage to bring it back on the table for real!
I hope that it runs Symbian Belle or even better Cizu.
max 3,7 inch screen and light weigted.
Symbianr rocks now with belle updates and Microsoft mobile office suite for free in the next 2 months as upgrading all symbian 3 phones.
just grab Nokia 701 and be free and a secure phone.
jonathan, 15 Nov 2011I much prefer ANDROID OS preferably ANDROID Ice Cream Sandwich! I WANT N8 RUNNING ON ANDR... morenot gonna happen. android is open and free hence unsecured and no profit. nokia goes for something secured and lucrative.
Chewy, 15 Nov 2011Yeah, its a race on a circuit :P I do understand what you say mate, for the vast majority ... morethe n8 not only has a large pixel count but also has a 60mm sensor size, the largest among all camera phones and even rivals lo-to-midrange compact slr's in image quality.
plizzz be it a meego...eventho theres not much apps on it...but its fluidity n ui design r worth it...theres fans out there who use their smartphone juz for essential matter like call, sms, fb, some twitter and much more...
the N9 meego really fits the bill
Q8Cavalry, 15 Nov 2011Boy you are one tough stubborn I have seen lots of pics and you can check with yourself Wave ... moreMan, we are on the same side! I am not a Nokia fan, and I saw your video. The N8's successor could have a 16 MP camera, with optical zoom. The screen will have 3.5 inch with a good resolution.(I get the news from a mobile phone site.)
well, one thing that preventing me from buying Nokia N8 is the ridiculous non-removable battery.
so, if the successors keep using those stupid built-in battery, i will not buy it.
as far as i remember, Nokia is not apple,
yet, those people at Nokia trying so hard to become apple.
take a look at those so-called "new flagship phone" from Nokia: non-removable battery, micro SIM card, no microSD card, etc.
I have Nokia N8 since it was released ... device is great... best camera phone in market till now & yes Symbian is doing great ...It got Free Maps , It got email exchange , microsoft office viewer & editor , some good games , NFS Angry Bird...
Just need better hardware 1GB ram 1GB CPU...
I trust in nokia.
Cyd07, 15 Nov 2011And if you don't know if you are going to drive a race or driving in a lake ?
No one doubt ... moreYeah, its a race on a circuit :P
I do understand what you say mate, for the vast majority of people, a camera phone is handy for those moment, and I know most people don't want to carry around a bulky SLR camera on the off-chance that they get an amazing picture opportunity.
The point I'm getting at is, people seem to think that the bigger the number of megapixels, the better the camera.. The N8's camera is no-where near the best on the market
i prefer Symbian C-name! Symbian is good, simple but elegant. Like the 701 almost all in 1 , hdmi, nfc, etc. 1-1.2Ghz is good just to run smoother, needs better gpu. Dual core?-(no need)
