                              I guess it's just me, I don't find the back ugly.

                              I like HTC because their designs differ from that of every other phone in the market. The materials are very nice. I am not a fan of plastic (or glass backings - much too delicate).

                              But then again I am the kind of person that does not like falling in line with everyone else.
