Mindprison, 16 Nov 2011Omg when will this end? WE DON'T NEED QUAD CORE CPUs IN MOBILE DEVICES!!!! The dual cores are ... morewho are you to decide what is good for my money ? i want the best hardware they can squeeze in a phone. and i want it yeasterday. i want to hoow up a phone to hdmi and a 3d projector and to the power supply and play crysis 2 in 1080p hd ? OK ? you can have you 1 ghz single core cpu. noone cares.
Do you know what it's truly cool about this phone? the size (109.8 x 60.9 x 9.8mm)if the size and specs are true I am sold (goodbye iPhone)
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2011Gingerbread buttons on Icecream phone? fakeicecream sandwich is like gingerbread or any other name given at an android OS. icecream is Android 4.0 i guess
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2011Why is it in most smart phones the secondary camera is small like this for instance its only 1... more1.3 mp means 1280 x 720 hd video resolution. is more than enough this resolution to make a videocall and to show you ugly face. many networks do not allow a big bitrate for videocall and a vga camera 640x480 is enough, the image is transmitted bad anyway. the back camera, the main camera must be improved to 12 mp
Why is it in most smart phones the secondary camera is small like this for instance its only 1.3mp ,that sucks. When will smart phones come up with better innovations i would like to see this happening in the not so disant future
Once again poor battery by htc ,,, guys this big seen will eat ,,,,up 1830 mAh in few minutes wont,,,, thts only them reason I dont like htc,,, always poor battery ,, even 2.5ghz I wont buy this with this poor battery
Dude I thought we asked someone to have listened to his language teacher. Idiot wont be taught by his language teacher. Anyway, Zeta's spex feels mouth-watering.
Mobile phone makers are preparing for games. Soon, the phones will have specs that allow them to play everything that there is to play for PSP / DS and also PC (old games), PS1,2 (through emulators). Not to mention that the market for native games is growing steadily. As for battery life and size, there will always be something to satisfy everyone.
SH31KH, 16 Nov 2011If they're coming up with all these new high-end devices..with crazy specs like the 2.5ghz...w... moreLol more RAM, what would you do with more RAM when Android doesn't have real multitasking? I can' even fill the 1GB on my S2 because Android has the limit of how many apps can be open. And I mean who would acctualy have 10+ apps running in the background, it is just a battery waste.
IMO, the good OS is that can manage low resource to run weight app or game,or its self system...
But, i look android cant be smooth like iphone althought they have a monster spec
So,why android more and more up their spec but not repair OS good compability tho hardware?
2.5 GHz quad core, is this necessary in phone. Will anyone use this for 3d studio, image editing or designing. This power will kill battery in few hrs and become hot.
Fongy, 16 Nov 2011I have to agree here...
And I've said it before.. I think specs need to 'level out' - dual co... moreFinally someone with a wider point of view on things.
I think all above you said can be easily achieved but the better camera with xenon flash is the hardest one. Problem is that today everything is too much about design, everything needs to be smooth and pretty to the eye, so the problem here is that for them to use a better camera is too having to compromise that sleek design because the xenon still takes space.
The point is, I don't care. Just look at Nokia N8, despite that, it still looks awesome. So they really have no excuse for not doing that on Android devices.
Another problem is that people are blinded by the marketing presented to them so in their minds they think they need more and more power in the phone. Acctualy they use that trick to lure them away from the thing they didn't improve, like those stated on your list.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
Perhaps 2.5 QUAD CORE is too much for a smartphones... Its clocked speed is same with a second Gen Core i5 or i7 what for buying a quad core? does it run everything ? Dual core 1.2 is enough, even 1.5 dual core is more than enough. Battery would drain faster than u can imagine with the clock speed...
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2011Gingerbread buttons on Icecream phone? fakeMaybe youre right, and maybe HTC has added it, Android is a very flixible OS so I guess they might be added. But Still, Look @ the earpiece, How the Hell you would Hear any Calls on it?
Why, i don't understand 2.5Ghz quad-core, what it can do?
Is it faster than my brain?

And I've said it before.. I think specs need to 'level out' - dual core 1.2 is more than enough I think to run things really smoothly now...
I think focus should shift to;
a) higher resolution screens - enabling more than the statutory 4 x 4 icon grid without using third party launchers
b) much better battery life
c) original premium handset designs - to start differentiating between brands / ranges and making Android more sexy
d) improved camera - with dedicated camera button and xenon flash
e) a much more improved Android Market
i think it's true..if your a good engineer you will know how to create it...it's not imposible because what your using in your laptops now a days are mobile processors like i7 and that's quadcore...they just delay the innovations for them to think of new cool stuff..
