Statcounter however, was not blocked. They show Huawei as the third largest behind Samsung and Apple in the UK as of September 2018. Not only that, from October 2017 (3.08%) to September 2018 (5.83%) they close to doubled their market share.
Sony, Motorola, HTC comes in with much smaller market share.
gt94sss2 , 26 Oct 2018Xiaomi should do well in the UK as long as they keep their pricing sensible but really need to... moreDefinitely. Especially as Honor phones costing as little as £140 have NFC. No one in the UK is going to pay £300 for the Pocophone if it doesn't have NFC, a pretty basic and standard feature in the UK

Huawei have shown the quality and is unknown name from Asian region. Oneplus is known too and thats for sure from China. So as Xiaomi that offers a lot for a buck. For daily surfers they all be happy under 150 euro 4/64GB redmi note 5 AI. A lot better then some 200 euro P10 lite.
huawei is established in pawn shops only i saw p20 pro for 249.99 in cash converters
still seems much for it

Carphone warehouse, EE, O2, Vodafone and many others
No-one else think the flagship could be the pocophone f1 since they announced that is was coming to the uk? Or maybe it is one of the 'friends'?
Yay this is fantastic news I love Xiaomi
I highly doubt they'll perform well against Samsung et al in the UK market

Xiaomi smartphones will be available simfree unlocked from retailers like carphonewarehouse, online retailer clove and many others retailers, even the high street and online chain Argos. Also remember that oppo are officially arriving in the UK with there oppo find X and the Lamborghini edition and other range of phones. This is the beginning of a new era. Times are changing...For the good of all.

Xiaomi should do well in the UK as long as they keep their pricing sensible but really need to start adding NFC to their phones as standard - consumers here will expect it

P20 Pro being the most sold Android phone on contract through Telia, second largest carrier in the country. The largest carrier does not publish monthly overview as far as I know.
Your comment is a lie.
Nearly every operator sells them. 3, EE, o2, Vodafone, Virgin, Giffgaff, Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, BT, Sky(and more). They ALL stock and sell Huawei/Honor devices. And they all sell well, especially the low/midrange devices.
Xiaomi will do just as well once people start knowing the name.
That part of Huawei is a lie. They're barely selling 1% of smartphones in this part of the world. They're rarely offered by operators so buyers will have to buy them from places like eBay and Amazon, which isn't exactly a place you want to buy an expensive and fairly high failure rate device like a smartphone. :)
Slide mechanism means limited lifespan.
Wire will tear eventually. Happens to all slide keyboard devices of the past.
Like bending a credit card from one side then the other, at the end it will tear
