The funniest part is that ice cream sandwich doesn't support Adobe Flash and probably never will - what will fanboys gloat about now?

2012 will prove to be a very interesting year in the mobile phone industry, particularly for google and apple, who have everything to lose and nothing to gain. Once people begin to realize just how pathetic the android ecosystem is, they'll head straight for Windows Phone and IOS in a mad rush to rid themselves of the bitter (fragmented) taste that google and its perpetual BETA software has left in their mouths.

does this indicate that other carriers in US will not carry Nexus?

Yes, Yes. Verizon made that very clear months ago. Please start acting like a tech blog and less like a newspaper.

We knew the phone was coming to VZ when they put up the page at verizonwireless.com (you input your email)like a month ago. I think this means a couple of things. 1, concessions were made by google to get this on their network. Two bloatware apps made their way onto our nice bloatless phone making it 2 bloat apps heavy. 2. hopefully this means it is coming out soon!!

Keeping w/ the Nexus trend, that is one hideous phone.

Why exactly is this news again? The Galaxy Nexus has been known for Verizon a while...

Everyone knows the phone is coming to Verizon. Nov 17 was the rumoured date for Verizon availability. I waiting for At&t release. I just got the Skyrocket frustated by the Nexus delay. I just want to check whether I missed anything on the Skyrocket compared to the Nexus.
