tune, 18 Nov 2011yesterday we had the change to do some testing with a nokia 800 and a SGS II and a Iphone 4S .... morenice to read from a person who has actually tried nokia 800. its a phone which was planned in a hurry and sent to the market .thats why it uses same chassis as the n9 . but the real game will begin with 900 , as u would prefer it has a 4.3 screen and front camera and others features .

This phones design is really good. First time Nokia is bringing a phone in polycarbonate body. The time by which they came with is almost 7 months !! I am a long time iPhone user and short term Android user. I had started using WP7 lately, but I like it better than others interface looks much stylish. Only problem is number of Apps are less compared to Android or iPhone , but now I am witnessing huge growth in the Apps market. So I think I am happy with Windows Phone !

Wp7 ui is already the smoothest ... moreyesterday we had the change to do some testing with a nokia 800 and a SGS II and a Iphone 4S .. i have to say that the build and construction of the Lumia is flawless. its rocksollid. i also like the way the glass had bending corners the looks are amazing and i like it more thant the SGSII and the Iphone .. but: the screensize of the SGS II make the common handling so much better than the 2 other phones. beside that i found the control of the screen a bit to sensitive , the tiles from the windows phone popped up even i just wanted to slide from up and down .. inserting text was a pain compared to both the other phones. way to sensitive ! the navigation program was amazingly good and the maps are eay to download for offline navigation. perfect .. my personal test result was that i like the looks and build of the new nokia and the will find a new market for these phones .. i just dont like the windows software and the sensitive (small)screen .. (

Nonsense! Nokia hardware is great, windows phone may be great but the interface is just terrible. Someone should have reminded Microsoft that common users judge software mainly from the interface.So who needs blue, or whatever plain color tiles all over their home screen? Who wants to type using a mediocre keyboard that looks printed? Like 3-Dimension in design don't really matter to Microsoft Windows Phone Department! You can't really believe this interface and the one of say, Office 2007 came from the same company!And is HTC Sense a fallacy? No, may be Samsung TouchWiz!(pun intended).

Though I were not a fan of Nokia. But having used it intermittently know build quality the NOKIA mobiles offer.
Those fan boys of IOS & Androids should ask their fathers about the Nokia phones.
IOS sells their phone by gimmicks and clever marketing on apple fan boys. It do not offer quality experience of using it as after initial release there is always host of problems.
Androids are not so easy to use interface and still in beta..and still developing but would not stand IOS phones with similar hardware.
Microsoft is magnanimous and proved itself to the world with its software and Nokia with is quality mobiles..
The partnership is lot to offer and its just the beginning...
Now go on to win the Nokia users experience.

Probably Elop must have some friends at this magazine,otherwise it's absurd for so many people to declare that a phone the've never seen is the best! Nokia are desperate for positive publicity!.....
