AnonD-12210, 18 Nov 2011u r confused mate .its not .1.2 and .1.2 but 2 x 0.6 mhz cores which totals to 1.2 ghz .What the hell are you talking about??? SGS2 is 2 core CPU and each core runs at 1.2 GHz speed. Go search a bit on Internet before posting such a stupid comment.

The problem to begin with is that it was in the list to vote before coming to the stores...

On the other hand if a GSM news/review website fails to see the innovation in this phone ..... I don't know what are you waiting for really, the last phrase is quite lame and out of place

                  What an absolute joke!

Nokia and Mocrosoft have gone on a shameless review and vote buying spree.

And Nokia fans are not the brightness bulbs, I mean they are still using Symbian!

what mobile must be one of those sites with jokes...right ? they must have a whole bunch of jokes..cop jokes, politician jokes, women jokes, men jokes... and of course phone jokes.

                        that explains it.

How can this be the phone of the year after only just being released, nobody as gone crazy about this phone an in the opinions not many people seem to have bought it as well,Nokia/Microsoft are paying some backhander to someone at What Mobile,No Front Camera ,No micro sd card slot an Bluetooth useless now.so how can this be winning the award, its been to overvalued by Nokia who are thinking if Apple can get away charging High prices for the iPhones they can do the same with Windows but Windows as got to much Restrictions,an N9 would have won this award but Nokia scared of making the sales of this phone good at all

A good phone is all in the infrastructure. Not the hardware but how well the hardware and software sing's. I have a Dual Core Laptop that performs better than my bro quad core desktop that he put together. So it doesn't mean that the Galaxy S2 has better CPU means its faster than a single core.

For the award well congrats Nokia. If people who haven't had a chance to really test the phone can give awards away. Isn't it the same for people who criticize and condemn this phone and OS especially when they haven't even use or own it.

Get real people it's not the end of the world and be open with new technology. That's how we'll excel.

                              Cheers

just tk an example. An F1 car is just a v8 but its faster and more powerful than the ferraris with 6 lit v12 s

I don't know about Lumia 800, but the N9 and MeeGo has been hitting grand slams with awards all over the place, not to mention how TIPA (professional photography magazine) praised it's camera. It's AppleArena, sorry i mean GsmArena that is giving it mediocre grades, also saying it has a poor single LED flash when it actually has a strong double led flash. Makes me thing the testing never took place.

Why are so many persons concerned about dual core and processor speeds, with WP7 you don't need such, just like Symbian handsets don't require much also, specs are one thing, usefulness and great UI along with smoothness is another thing which matters most of all in mobile devices.
