Just wondering if anyone got official update 2.3.5 for sgs2 in UK. I am at 2.3.4.
Kies and phone indicates no updates and the latest version installed. Anyone ?? Appreciate in advance

Yo guys... there is this app called power saver... now to be honest i have never belived in a app that will improve my battery life... OMG iv been useing my phone since 7am this morning and i have still got full battery.... SMASHING IT.

I Am Already Using XXJVT ROM. On My Galaxy S i9000...........................But I Live In Pakistan and downloaded from samfirmware and installed ROM with Odin.

people who have SGS I wait and Samsungmobile must give to them ICS OS.
Because same Specs of Sony Ericsson ARC and NEO also confirmed ICS OS. Hope for best!

Still no update on 2.3.4 in UK for my SGS which from 3 UK and T-mobile UK. But, both phone is unlocked when I got it. Then 2.3.5... Are you kidding me... Still no official 2.3.4, but already officially come out 2.3.5... Confuse... Better off use flash on my own...

Got it... but don't see much of an improvement... Except for the glow which I though was pretty good looking! But, hey, didn't the xperia x10 already had this?
Anyway, nice of Sammy to keep updating this phone!

Mine updated to the new version just over 2 days ago, as far as I can tell up till now, no difference is noticed what so ever with the messaging app! The supposed power changes have worked, only my phonelasts for 3-4 hours a day before being charged up, not the usual 6-7 hours.
One thing has improved though, that start up and shut down times...whish is handy, seeing as I need to switch mine off to save on power now!!
Overall Samsung, a crappy update, Again!!

While I love the fact the Sammy continue to show their support for this beast of a phone, I'd love if it they could give us Ice Cream Sandwich.

AnonD-30806, 18 Nov 2011honesty I can't see the big difference between the Gingerbread 2.3.4 version and 2.3.5, the fi... moredoesnt take long to back up data 5mins tops or even 10mins if you fill up ya storage space. !!! backing up is always best policy. 20yrs working with computers has taught me that !!!
