Samsung Galaxy S gets Android 2.3.5 update in the UK Comments

2.3.5 update is a vast improvement on my sgs2/o2 (which i recently upgraded from sgs 2wks back) to be honest i didn't think it could be improved on an excellent phone/mini-pc, love the sgs 2 no ends... right i'll stop bigging up the sgs2 now n onto the sgs (ive owned for year without a single fault an excellent predecessor)well since the update came out this week for sgs2 n patiently waiting n trying to upgrade my old sgs/cpw (now the wifes new phone)twice this week just in case it was released without it being published... so watch this space as i'll be trying again tonight.... final note looking forward to the ice cream sandwich release no ends. thats if i dont get my hands on a quad cpu smart phone to play with first

2.3.5 is great didn't wipe anything off my phone and runs even better then before. Batery get about 2 days.

This became available the other day, as I have had it a few days. Seems much faster than 2.3 and battery so much better. Quadrant scores improved, 1500. Much better than the 900 I was getting.

cant imagine how good will the next update be.

Just updated my SGS from 2.2 to 2.3.3 ... works awesome .... cant wait for the new update however hoping the icecream Sandwich works with the SGS ... fingers crossed

My Singapore galaxy SII still stuck at 2.3.3 while galaxy S getting 2.3.5 update?? What are you doing samsung? you like to force your customer toward unofficial rom?

Samsung gets bla bla bal :D it's only for Generic handsets or unlocked phones!!!not a single network provider has their own version of 2.3.5 boo hoo

its only the unlocked versions that get the treatment
. Carrier bound units will need to wait a while untill it becomes available.:(
still good to know that the first galaxy is gonna get the final gingerbread treatment :D

I've had the 2.3.3 update for quite some time now. Phone was purchased in the UK but I live in South Africa. Wonder if I will get a 2.3.5 update.
