Iris scanners were unreliable so they had to be removed. (until new, better ones come along)
FaceID is more convenient, easier to use, and more secure than fingerprint readers.

The thing is, the fingerprint reader is infinitely more convenient than a facial or iris scanner. If you're using the touch screen your finger is available. You can't say the same for your face or eyes.

I'm not stuck with 10 different Google apps that cannot be removed + whole Microsoft package + some other stuff like Skype and OneDrive which I'll never use. And if you get a phone which doesn't have stock Android... then you have even apps from manufacturer that you cannot remove. And some even install apps of your carrier as soon as your SIM is inside.
Bloatware wise iOS simply owns Android.
Haha fingerprint reader!

Yes and it adds 200 more to the price and noone will using it grats.
Same goes for Iris scanner.

What bloaterware on Android doesn't exist on iOS? I'd confidently argue that Apple force a lot more useless bloat on you than Android. Google and Samsung at least gives you an option to disable and uninstall their apps and services.
S6 User, 04 Nov 2018Yes I agree that it would be a good idea to officially change the Bixby button into a smart bu... moreYeah, that button has a huge potential. Just not as Bixby.
Majority of people won't use any asistant and it's a fact that Samsung can't change over night. And Bixby is half baked anyways. So button dedicated to this is a fail.
If they gave me option to chose what I want that button to do, I'd be happy.
But in all honesty it would be the best if they just gave me the option to buy a version without that button, since whatever I connect to that button I think I'll still press it over and over again accidentally.

And I. My experience my iPhone X gives me much more from the battrey than my S9. Yet I'd keep my s9 as my main. Not the biggest fan of iOS lack of file management. Files was a disappointed.
You can buy a lot of other phone than the Galaxy with a cheaper price. But you only have a few selections of iOS. That's where you pay the premium. Using iOS. Most apps just run smoother on iOS.
And apple regular warranty if miles a head of samasung , and I've used both in situations that I would never need. Apple just took my phone replaced it no questions because it took them over an hour to diagnose the issue (6s stuck on booting). And my phone was out of warranty, probably over a year out of warranty,I don't upgrade my iPhones much often.
On the other hand my s6 went dead. Just a month after the year ended Samsung did nothing. Good thing I upgrade the Samsung every year. Though I couldn't sell that one

(Vir... moreThe fact is you get MORE for LESS money with the 512GB Note 9 @ £1,049 than the 64GB X$ Max @ £1,099.
The 512GB X$ Max costs £1,449!, and you'll have to pay extra for fast charger, cable, dongle, etc.
You get more of everything with the Note 9.
For example you mention screen estate:
Samsung Galaxy Note 9:
6.4" Screen, 103.2 cm2 screen.
Apple iPhone XS Max:
6.5" Screen (- Notch), 102.9 cm2 screen.
Then there's Battery life:
Samsung Galaxy Note 9: 4000 mAh (97h).
Apple iPhone XS Max: 3174 mAh (79h).
Samsung: 2 years warranty for all smartphones (covering defects in materials and workmanship).
Apple: One-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for any new Apple-branded product.
They're both great phones but 1 is much better value for money, that's why I'm getting the Galaxy Note 9 (128GB) which is currently £849 & hopefully even cheaper on Black Friday/ Cyber Monday.

Not only Bixby but bloatware in general is what bugs me on Android. And slow updates aswell.
And no, iOS is far from perfect aswell. The iTunes is crap, and getting music is also a lot harder...

...yeah , such a smooth experience. Almost it makes you wionder where the rest be. Oh wait they are already on the moon (passive biometrics, twice the SoC in Apple's case), shorter phone for the screen size (actually fit in the pocket), gesture navigation (more usable screen estate).
Yeah, Note 9 is pretty hi tech I must say (lol)
