All hail the quad core chip! .... Meh! It would be better if someone would make a 4000mah battery for standard mobile phone.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2011waits for the samsung boys to think this is gonna be a 6ghz phone in total.............not 6 ,16 lol we cant sum.its value..itd speed will be at 1.5ghz always..but able to carryout more functions at a time...for a mobile dual core is far efficient...so many pc are still running on dual core smoothly...then what is the need of 4 cores for mobile os...strategic move to get money...nothing more

1.5ghz? I know we're talking exynos, but in order for the Galaxy S3 to compete with the likes of the HTC Zeta (still a fan-made concept methinks) and leapfrog the competition, I would have thought bare minimum would be 2-2.5 ghz and at least 2gb of RAM. Being the 3rd generation, I would think Samsung would double the specs of the predecessor like they did with the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S, still early days. I doubt we'll see an unveil come MWC 2012, we'll probably see this after MWC 2012 with a better metal chassis this time.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2011When you say no one do you mean no one in the Android world? Battery life is a major priority ... moreMajor priority? If I am right, Apple was the one, who declared the batteries the war in the first place. And an iPhone has no longer life than a good Android phone. And Apple didnt choose to take a stand against flash because of battery life, cuz those apps, to replace flash, take at least as much energy. They choose not to use flash, because it is the main reason for MACs to freeze or any other failure. Thats why I dont like Apple, instead of finding a way, to make something stable and comfort everyone (i mean devs), they choose to take it out completely, like you cannot be in a plane crash, if your not sitting in one. Or like you cannot break your right arm, if you dont have one. Does it make it good like that? NO!

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2011When you say no one do you mean no one in the Android world? Battery life is a major priority ... moreNot just android, but every manufacturer. We pay quite a bit for these devices and in most cases are bound by a 2 year contract, whether it be apple, android etc.

Although they have a battery which lasts about 2 days on average, I would like to see someone create new battery technology which would last at least about 5 days.

While the phones are amazing and fast, a dual core phone would last an average of 2 days.

A quad core processor would definetly eat up more power shortening the battery life.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2011every manufacturer is working on a new processor..... What about the battery life??????? No... moreDid you read the news? It said, that Sammy is working on a CPU, which makes use of powerful A15 Cores and has also some A7 Cores inside and switches between the cores, based on the needed performance and so it saves more energy than anything else could.

No one seems to be concentrating on that. No use having a powerful phone which lasts less than a day.

i saw a comparison review including qualcomm's karit X4 and nvidia's tegra 3 (X4) with some laptop's processors (most atom, core2duo and sandybridge), tegra 3 was comparable to intel's atom-dual core, and karit did amaze and was comparable to sandy bridge processors in some aspects,, i wonder where xynos X4 would fit here, maybe it would sit somewhere between the two!
