but no idea where to buy original oneplus battery. its not safe using 3rd party batteries. any link for the original battery?
Rocky Al, 05 Nov 2018You are old school. Looks like you can live with old Nokia mobile. As you said you don't use c... morePlaying games on phones is not everyone's cup of tea. Some of us buy the phone just to use it as a device for communication. For us smoothness matters, but not the frame rate for the games cause it's a phone. Not a Playstation or a xbox. Better grow up and please use your time on something other than worthless stuff.
I'm so happy to read your article. How practically you've pointed out things.
Very nice Sir. Hats Off.
Glad I'm not alone. Can relate to every sentence in this article. Pixel Camera Port just made the camera almost On Par with current day flagships. Brought it on the launch day, now just replaced my OP3's battery after reading about the Pie Update for like $20,totally worth it. Best spent $400 ever on a gadget! But will i buy an OP device again, May be, May be not. Feels like OP's is just another Chinese Manufacturer trying hard to be Apple
manurd350, 05 Nov 2018I think the writer exactly matches my point of view. Oneplus 1 was a game changer, Oneplus 3 w... moreTrue,I completely agree with your points towards OnePlus New phones, being OnePlus 3T user,I don't feel like upgrading to any new OnePlus devices,I have many drop marks on metal body(used dbrand to cover it which I won't use with glass back)softwaret, there is still an android 9.0 update is still coming for it and also lots of custom rom support,i know that I will get it's battery replacement for just 2000Rs (30$) and will get it replaced soon within few hours,I do want a better camera for my phone, but I still prefer to direct people new to OnePlus towards their phones though, the software support (oxygen os has the perfect balance for me somehow),built quality, dash charge, good specs, camera for price still made me recommend OnePlus devices over pocofone untill OnePlus 6T came without headphone jack, looking to use my mobile for next two years also, untill something good comes to mobiles
So glad others feel the same way. I have a Sony Z3 Compact. I would like to change not necessarily upgrade because I hate the glass back which just shatters by itself overnight. Changed two backs so far. Perfect size, good processor, good camera and still looks good - in green.
I don't need or want any other extra features. Glad I'm not the only one.

Тhere is no reason to change your phone for more than 4 years in any brand, you will not get something extremely new and unique. The reason to change is mostly because of some personal preference, or just because the battery replacement and shipping will be more than phone price.
Cant agree more dude! Either to show off or for the ones those who are amateurs. Its good to upgrade only if/when it is absolutely required.
I would like to buy a flagship but hey i come to realize that all regular uses of mine are simple like fb, youtube, messaging and i could do that with Moto e4 plus and its a best while coming to battery i can use continuously for 2 almost 2 days and it fell out hard more than i can remember but still only has few dents sure i would love to have a awesome camera and a slik design but the durability and the ruggedness are pretty damn cool
which google camera port you guys using? I got it from xda website but the colour of photo is so unsaturated even seems dead unlike the photos shown in this article.
always using my oneplus one since 4 years now, and the snapdragon 801 is working well in any circumstances.
i also change the ROM to PSOP ROM android 9.0 and the battery is always ok for one or two day
This article pretty well sums up how I feel about my oneplus 3.i keep it up to date and do a clean install every six months or so and it feels as fast today as it did when I bought it. I use the pixel launcher and camera and agree that the photos are fantastic. Not a fan of glass backs either... Wonder what it'll take to make me upgrade...
I won't be buying it for one simple reason. Well, two really:
1. It's just two big like 99% of phones available. Not everyone has hands like a bear.
2. No 3.5mm port. I don't want cordless earphones or a stupid plug to convert USB to 3.5mm.
