Diaz, 05 Nov 2018Phone Quality wise , Nubia series are good phones, When it comes to security updates and OS up... moreThe percentage of people who buy phones for main priority of updates are lower then people who buy phones to use them and who dont care much of the updates.

I am one of these people who dont chose a phone cause it gets update. I chose a phone for a price range and what i get for it. Upgrades on software part is secondary.

Phone Quality wise , Nubia series are good phones, When it comes to security updates and OS upgrades..its a mess with Nubia Series, Little to no support from Developers too on nubia Series.
No matter this is flagship ...It ends up of having no major software upgrades or support post sales.

Been a Nubia Z11 mini S user for some time and switched to Android one phones now

To the three below: Nubia isn't great quality, both soft and hardware wise. I know because I've had a few. Say what you will about Samsung, they are of much higher quality in all areas, hence my remark. I can also slap a name on something and call it a phone, if you catch my drift.

GG3 instead of GG6, the only thing that I hate about this phone.

Dude, 05 Nov 2018All fine and dandy but overpriced, for a gimmick feature after all. China phones don't compete... moreIt has almost everything the S8+/S9 have and then adds some features on top (more RAM, Bigger battery, better STB ratio, but most importantly it has dual-displays, which obviously adds to the production cost of the phone).

S8+/S9 are both great phones, but they obviously target a more casual audience. The Nubia is for those who want something different, something new.

You say you instead would get at Samsung SGS, but that one does have one giant gimmick, the curved display - which is just plain horrible.

All fine and dandy but overpriced, for a gimmick feature after all. China phones don't compete anymore at those prices. I can get an S8+ for less over here and for around the same an S9. Keep it always below $400, China!

That's great news. I hope it sells a lot. We need more companies like these that innovate or improve upon unconventional ideas rather than those that play it safe.
