At least, those are small. Not like those large ugly from Apple. It'll be funny watch how much time will take Apple to copy and buy the full screen technology with under display cameras or with sliders from Android manufacturers... As usual, later, and then doctrine their sheeps that they are the first one and they it do better... "720p flaship".
MadMel, 08 Nov 2018wireless...everything!Like I've said a thousands times before. If its justifiable with an ultra-slim design, I'm all for phones lacking any kind of connectors. Selling 7-10mm thick phones is like giving the middle finger to the buyer. "We could have put it there but we'd rather fraud you with some lies about the future".
MadMel, 08 Nov 2018wireless...everything!so, inefficient wireless is everything?
Lol, this is hardcore fun... i read so many wice (simple haters) words in here about Sammy, copcats and notch and now it maybe come and how great they are etc etc, its just a brand like many others, nothing special anylonger.
And Sony and HTC is not the only one without the notch, Asus, Huawei and Honor have some phones where the user have the choice to turn the notch of, others to.
But honestly, on some phones notch looks good in my opinion.
Its just a phone and im sure we all will survive.
In few years notch is somthing from the past and all the wice haters will hate somthing else.
hmm i remember they make ads about how cool their removeable battery and laugh at iphone non-removeable battery xd well right now almost all samsung smartphone is non-removeable battery :v lol
few month ago the make ads about iphone notch lol xd and now.... well you know the rest (lets wait until samsung remove headphone jack which maybe in s10 or note10 xd)
Am I the only one that can't see any notch here?
Notch is that awful loooong thing on the top of your screen and what I see here is just holes for selfie that can't possibly be made other way so far... What's the problem?
Anonymous, 08 Nov 2018Please enlighten me, how is removing the headphone jack is the future?wireless...everything!
I don't care. I'll still find _someone_ making a notchless model somewhere. I'm _not_ buying a phone with a notch, full stop.
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2018There is no reason to suggest Samsung will use a notch, if u watched the preview, they said th... moreExactly what I was thinking.
I bet dollars to pesos that other brands who already have notches will incorporate the odd notches into their phones. Huawei's mate 30 (not the pro), oppo screens.... Mark my words peeps.
But I am an avid Samsung fan so if they incorporated the notch I would probably stick with them as I like the quality. baaahhhhh.
this is good news as quantity of dumb comments about notch on tech sites are going to decline dramatically...now is headphone jack time to get the same treatment...welcome back to the future Samsung.
SpiritWolf, 07 Nov 2018So Sony and HTC are the last mohicans.Sadly they killed the headphone jack already. I will buy an older phone when I need to change mine at this rate.
Just use Infinity-O and New Infinity. Sell the rest to other OEMs. Notches sucks.
Will this be the screen for upcoming As?? The new thing they're talking about??
ahhahahahhahahahhahahahahhahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahhahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahahahahhahahhahahhahahhahahahhahhahahahah... oh, samsung... you're making it too easy.
There is no reason to suggest Samsung will use a notch, if u watched the preview, they said that these were screens that they were working on, doesn't mean that they will actually make it to market, and even if they do, they may arrive on the mid rangers, and the premiums will get the new infinity and infinity flex displays
-DLS-, 07 Nov 2018I still don't understand who asked these idiotic OEMs for no bezel phones. Reviewers. Hell, I hate the idea of a chinless phone.
Linux android, 07 Nov 2018Ok troll now apple buying oled displays from Samsung And calibrates them and makes them look better than samsung does. So beating the manufacturer at its own game, basically using them for what they are: a display panel manufacturer.
