LG Optimus 3D Gingerbread now rolling out to users Comments

I have an LG Optimus 3D with Rogers (a Canadian telco) branding that I parallel imported to New Zealand via Mobicity.co.nz. It's the P925G model that does "AT&T" frequncies (also compatible with "Telecom XT" network in New Zealand). I love the phone, but have no idea when an upgrade will appear. I may just upgrade to the new model when it comes out. ;-)

in LG PC suite IV i get told there is an update available, but when LG mobile update starts up it says I already have the newest version of software. then i go back to lg pc suite and it says there is an update available!?! No overly impressed with the phone, it crashes randomly and keyboard freezes etc etc...

nothing here in uk on unbranded handset may as well take anything said about updates for this phone with a pinch of salt,i wonder how many customers lg lost through this handset because ive seen lots of posts all over the net of people saying never getting an lg again....me being one of them....

So much for an update if it bricks your phone. The updater came up with an error while updating and told me to unplug the phone and replug the battery. So i did. After that the phone was stone dead. Do anyone have any suggestions how fix this? (The phone is rooted. Don't know if that makes any difference) Any help would be much appeciated.

I tried to update but it's say the is phone up to date on 2.3, so when will it available in Australia ?ths

They promised to have Optimus Black upgrade rolled up on 28th Nov, let's wait for a little while more. Otherwise, the P970 will no longer stay in my pocket.

i tried to update it yesterday via lg updater and cause me problem with my optimus 3d now my phone has crashed and the updater show me a message that updater has a problem......i had iphone i sell it because i buy the lg but i think that was very stupid.....

Still no update in Luxembourg either.. Always says your phone has the latest version or so... :-(
