I wasnt aware it wasn't available Indian.
Spotify is good because eventually I got bored of a song regardless of how good it is.
This way you have so much choice.
You can explore every genre.
You can try out songs that you've never even heard of.
I think its good idea.
No plastic, no scratched CDs.
Very cool unprecedented variety of music.

Why not in India?, 14 Nov 2018Why not in India?Because India is a very very big market and music corporations like Sony Music, Universal music and others are blocking Spotify from entering India.
Spotify did the mistake of trying to license artists directly bypassing these music corporations which hold the rights over songs. It angered the music labels and to punish Spotify, they blocked it from licensing Music for use in India (one of the biggest markets).
Unless this issue between Spotify and Music labels is solved, it won't be able to launch in India.
Anyways Spotify has lost the game in Indian market. Apple Music, Google Play Music, Saavn, Jio, Gaana, Wynk etc have captured the majority market already. It is very hard to make users switch from the music services they have already subscribed to.
I am already using Apple Music and Saavn. Couldn't wait much for Spotify to launch.
