Still on retarded 2.3.3 and battery issue....
Only got one minor update via kies and that's it!
I don't understand Samsung policy either.

updatr via kies is so stressfull and not worth it.. i havr tried using wifi for 4days now to update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 but its not working at all. too bad.. nokia uses ota all the time.. samsung should do this.

If you have a branded SGSII , it's not samsung who update it but your local carrier.

This is the same for all the manufacturers except Apple (Btw They update many times their phones just to block jaillbreak, not to make the customers happy :))

WTF!!!!! samsung u have really proved ur self to be one of the greatest cell phone providers, but ur updates r freaking retarted. I have galaxy s2 in U.S. and i am on 2.3.4 right now and i got that through the kies not ota, and this new phone thats been barely 2 months out u give it one of ur latest firmwares???? Samsung needs start providing way better services cuz u guys r at the end of the list for giving updates.

yea the uk s2 has gt the 2.3.5 update , tried doing it through kiew(whihc is stupid) and then the update in btween crashed 2wice so tried through wifi , and it went through update is brilliant

anybody at samsung if you are reading this lemme tell you sony provided 2.3.4 for their long gone model xperia x10i around 4 months back.and we are using the flagship set of the world's largest smartphone seller.isn't that ironic???
