I bet most people who commented here are from Europe, Asia, africa, which i can understand to defend Nokia because in U.S. nokia not that much popular IOS and Android. Currently Samsung phone SGS2 Note are impressing me. don't get me wrong i used to buy nokia phones from 3310, e72, N958gb also have had Sony Ericsson. i bought those unlock international vrs.

I have a 5800 still working for that. Forever plaqued with problems downloading them if you still use a PC....ok you can use your handset now.....but if you are roaming think of the data charge should you need a new map! Better to use google maps

It's AMOLED which is supplied by Samsung just like Motorola and other brands. There is no Black screen(in your dream maybe lol). Nokia doesn't manufacture displays. Just get the stuff and re-names it
Besides, CBA is normal Amoled(with Pentile matrix), which all Nokia fanboys previous moan about. Technically SA+ or HD SA are far superior than CBA.

Since when Carl Zeiss becomes a subsidiary company of Nokia? Nokia doesn't own Carl Zeiss. Besides, the lens hardly matter when it comes to the size of the mobile phone usage. The cmos sensor and others contribute to the performance. Remember N9 LOST in the 8mp camera-phones reviews and Lumia 800 has 8mp as well. Don't come up with N8 and complain about it. It has 12mp and that's another league with other 12mp mobile phones(Pixon 12) and N8 isn't clearly the best even in that department.

They got ripped off just like Crapple fanboys. While Crapple fanboys, at least, get a decent and stable OS, Nokia fanboys don't get the same quality, but they are still happy whatever Nokia does and pays for it :)

It is proven be to ... morewhat is the use of mediocre quality video@1080p resolution some of old Nokia records better video like N8@720p so thats not exaclty the advantage,Dual core ? what is that for? for running Angry bird? but as i mentioned in my previous comment about resource hogging of Android thats the answer for dual core, 4.2" Laege screen LOL you can't even carry such a large phone in your jeans or atleast will not feel comfortable i can't carry samsonite bag every where to carry a phone and one more question why you people are so much interested in human Back-end can't find better language to talk this shows how android users are

What i see is a nice colour on a phone that does less than an orange monte carlo for about four times the price. I accept that Nokia make nicely finished handsets, but their technology is very conservative. I don't think that the original beauty of Nokia is part of their designs anymore. SE have adapted a little better to recent trends, but it is just another slab of basic technology this phone, even if it is nicely painted. Original Nokias were unique, this is not. Nokia should have reinvented themselves with a focus on uniqueness not copycat practices.

Hello Nokia, Only Windows Phone OS alone will not going satisfy all the people needs and No OS is going to stay permanently in this market and technologies grows daily people looking different things and options each and every day, just make use of meego and symbian as well to be king in mobile devision.., other wise samsung is taking quick and good decisions to become leader.

Nokia please in terms of hardware you are great but OS no, and you know that it. it does not impress people. if you compare this OS to Maemo, Meego, obviously it sucks.Look not all the people of the world are in to social networking sites. Just either switch back to Maemo...pls no symbian if it is then improve the UI...or Meego...OR For better just co-sign with Google's Android.

I don't get 3G where i am, but O2's signal is far superior to 3's in my part of the country.

3 is already gone in here Australia. Vodafone took over their business. That explains a lot.
but still vodafone coverage is pretty pathetic. Telstra is indeed the best, but most of their phones(even android phones for god's sake!) are totally overpriced. Who gonna buy Motorola defy with $49 24mths contract? Better to get an iphone4s...

It is proven be to true that the majority of people, whether they frequently use it or not, tend to want more features on their phone.
It can't do 1080p recording, no dual core, micro sim card, relatively small display(3.7") and more...
you don't need those features then fine. Then why not buy relatively cheap android(Wildelife s or galaxy ace) or even other relatively cheap WPs that recently got Mango updates?
I know you are nokia fanboys that loyal to your master's ass, but the majority of consumers aren't with you.

Three has sold the Nokia Lumia 800 in Cyan and Black colour as well which is only for the existing customer not for the new customers due to limited stock

what makes this phone so special about Lumia 800 than other window phones? nothing.
only thing i remember that i lacks FCC which most of other WPs have it.
