I use a phone that costed me 120 $ dollar 1.5 years ago with 32 gb memory. But I am happy with memory as I have upgraded storage by just 20$ to 32+128gb by sd card. The only reason I want to buy a better phone is for a better camera(I am not a gamer so don't want the best specs on aphone as long as apps are working smooth). Google is making a better camera phone for four times price but killed the memory. They have to understand that memory is most important thing in developing markets like India and China where people store a lot of videos, music etc offline on phone(I have 64 gb study videos)

Guys, this is a developing country option for pixel 3 with snapdragon 6 series chipset.
@Media agency: Don't make us foool by telling that Snapdragon 8 series and 6 series have same capability to take photos.
@Google: Don't make mistake as iphone XR. Remember, you sold Pixel 3 for $600-650 at Black friday. Suggestion: Remove all those software gimmicks, otherwise, useless in developing countries i.e. AI call screening.....& thus, keep the price down. If you keep Lite version for $400-500 and Pixel 3 sold for $600-650; its no brainer to go for the later.
Please make it close to $300, very same launching price of Nexus 5.

Keeping the phone limited to 32GB without SD card is again an act of Google shooting itself in the foot. Though they are in the silicon valley, their attitude is of someone from the Amazon rainforest with no intro to any tech. 32gb should be declared obsolete, even 64gb. The minimum starting should be 128gb irrespective of low range or high rage. Hope google listens.

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2018I'm interested if it's $400 and has water resistant. Wireless charging would be nice too.So are you content with 32 GB storage with no option of expansion?

"... and only 32GB storage (non-expandable)."

I stopped reading after that.

A mid-range phone without expandable storage, and with only 32GB storage option? Good luck with that, Google.

Google is most definitely going to pull a Samsung here with its pricing. This will essentially cost the same as a OnePlus 6 or 6T, making it a dodgy and unappealing proposition.

It doesn't look very different from the Pixel 3. Just more plasticky with a bigger chin. I was really hoping for a premium small phone. Unless it's 400 bucks, it's not going to sell well.

nik.007, 26 Nov 201832gb+non expandable= recipe for disaster. Google should make a camera instead of a phone seriously. But there is a unlimited storage on cloud for photos in high res.
But i agree 32gb is to low for base model.

What's the point of a great camera if there's no storage for video recording?
