Icecream Sandwich is still a buggy OS. May be LG is waitimg for the complete development of the OS. Who wants the phones with the buggy OS?....
optimus one can run ICS but it will better if you tune the cpu to 750MHz.
nice move lg
Where's the optimus pad update? ICS should be able to run on the pad...wts LG!
@Armin and @Anonymous
Yeah I understand those factors that you both are pointing out. Samsung has been on the up and up lately in build quality, OS stability and updates.
Mainly that comment is for people that claim one thing and then do another. People that state false claims about what they'll buy and won't buy and when what they said they won't buy comes out with what they want, they go and buy the exact things that they said they wouldn't buy. For instance, in this very thread, there are people claiming that LG has lost their trust (The Exact same things they said about Samsung back in the day) and then when LG starts pulling out updates, they'll come crawling back to LG (Just like they did Samsung) so why even state such things? That's why I said their "Trust" is fickle as the next Android device.
By that, I am not poking fun at Android as I like Android alot, but I'm basically stating that their "Trust" varies from device to device and is insatiable and inconsistent regardless the situation (even if they get exactly what they want - They're STILL always wanting more).
Whether Optimus One (P500) can be upgraded to Android 4.0. What is the minimum hardware requirements?
LG thrill 4g will work in ice-cream sandwich?
nice .. :)
its very good but it function not well its many problems
Thats a great news for all the Optimus users. I myself is using LG Optimus P970 black (white version) and waiting for the update to hit the shore for a long time.
Cheers LG
Tizen Takeover, 28 Nov 2011LOL @ all the people saying "You've lost our trust". Your "Trust" is as f... moreWell if you have noticed lately (more than 1 year now), Samsung understands not to joke with updates. Even if they are not ready to release it officially, they allow it to leak. However, they are pretty quick with updates nowadays.
I must say that's not a bad move in fact a good one. Well done, LG keep it hanging tight.
Tizen Takeover, 28 Nov 2011LOL @ all the people saying "You've lost our trust". Your "Trust" is as f... moreyou are very funny indeed.. well im not a samsung fan or any other brand, but i loved LG phones, i owned three LG optimus family 2x,optimus black and optimus one..there flagship optimus 2x was the first dual-core device but the last to get gingerbread update..i waited for 6months for that when SE is announcing for ice cream updates for there single core devices..optimus black no update yet also..anyway i hope LG wakes up and realize they are little behind
This sounds good. but I do not think anyone else to fall back into the same error of believing updates from LG. Yes, we know that almost all brands have problems with updates ... but the LG has abused a little bit of patience of its customers.
LG cannot be trusted with updates. They don't really get it that updating software regularly 'sell' phones
What about Optimus PaD "G-Slate" this is their only tablet and its still on 3.1 and lots of bugs!
LG you worthless with your locked bootloader! At least unlock the bootloader so we can use customs ROMs
How about optimus pad???
I abandoned HTCs and owned the three Optimuses, 2x,Black then 3D within my families. Now feel its great on having the ICS anouncement. ^^ NOT REGRET BOUGHT THEM , LG, i hope u will deliver the update as fast as possible! GOGO, LG~~
LOL @ all the people saying "You've lost our trust". Your "Trust" is as fickle as the next Android Device. You all said the exact same thing about Samsung back in the Behold 2 days. "Samsuck, Samsung I'll NEVER support you again, Samsung I can't believe you won't update our phone" but now look at you all, using a "Samsung" Android phone.
Its just little too late LG..already lost my trust in you
