Wasn't it called "Spontaneous Combustion"? It's self-destruction, anyway. "this device will self-destruct in five months".

I don't why i have to buy a mobile that i can't sync my contacts directly to it with my laptop.... without storing it in the web...
      Apple, Android and many others...
it is very complicated to do a simple task with all this technologies... they forgot that the mobile is a mobile phone ... We all perhaps ignoring the small details in our mobiles due to the style, options, and features. but at the end it must be doing the mobile work first...

I still preffer the windows mobile OS... I maybe fool but at the end I know where is my data.

IF ... Just IF it has something to do with the battery it would make sense . the lithium polymer (lipo)battery is a very intens a complex way of charging and discharge. in pure techno the cheap wall socket chargers are not able to get the max out of the battery , even worse they dont balance the lipo and that will increase the change of a failure in the battery , once a lipo start to go in a fail circuit, its not reversable and you cant turn off the heat and fire. keeping it under water is the onlt way to cool it and put the flames out.

i did some testing with my SGS 2 battery with a RC hobby charger and been able to get a live time of 145 hours ...instead of the normal 40 hours that will be provided bij the wall socket charger .. that would make you scratch your head right ?

in other words, the batterys are great , the cheap chargers suck and they will kill our lipo battery's .

An iPhone detained-did they detain the owner along with it?Why not send it to Apple for analysis and possible replacement for the owner?Or did it come on the flight on its own?!

If it is inherent they might consider putting iPhone4S on the banned list. It might be that "one in a million" case, I guess.

                              iMplode?

So much for high quality. Is this what we should expect from Apple now that Steve Jobs' gone? I mean, antenna issue, still not that bad. Exploding is way beyond bad.

Careful next time you put your iPhone to your face.

I'm sure that they're gonna get patents for this "SMOKING HOT" battery and sue everyone they find in the street.
